Well everyone, here we are once again lol. Time for another fan-art related drawing. And as of right now at this current time, this is my LAST fan-art related drawing I have for now! And this will also be my last submission I have to show for the time being. After this drawing, I'll be all caught up! It'll just be getting down to making some all new artwork hehe. So again, if you all want to see new artwork for me, keep me in your wishes & prayers. And send some creative juices my way. I'm going to NEED them lmao.
But for now, let's go ahead & get into what I have left and wrap up this current drawing/uploading session lol. So here is the 4th (and final) sketch I have of Jeff for now, from the cartoon Forest Friends. More to come in the future, of course. And again, if you haven't seen my other 3 drawings I've made of this character, please by all means feel free to do so!
So also like the other 3 previous sketches I've made of Jeff, this was my last drawing I made one night back in October 2025. And once all of the other 3 drawings were out of the way, this was the last drawing I put my focus onto. Both sketching, and coloring wise lol. And I figured I'd save this sketch for last, as this was one of my FAVORITE poses of this character. So I figured I'd save the best, for last lol. As I usually do, typically.
And in total, this drawing took me I'd say about 5 hours to finish. So, once again I was able to get it finished within a day. Again, fan-art is typically a breeze to create & finish. As I usually don't include any complex backgrounds or details lol. As they aren't needed usually in simple sketches lol.
However this drawing, I realized I made a mistake. That I was always worried I would end up making with this character.......And that was I felt like I colored in this character's skin tone WAY too dark.......To the point where I felt like I had to erase some of the coloring I did. So the next day after the drawing was done, I spent some of the day erasing some of the coloring work I did. In an attempt to make it look lighter. And again, I took my time doing that. And then re-darkened some of the lines. And then re-colored in areas that got some eraser treatment more than other areas.
And well, I mean it looks slightly better than it did at first. But I still feel like his skin tone looks a little too dark/off to me. Which is kind of a shame, as this was the drawing I was looking forward to making the most out of all the 4 I made of this character. But whatever, I'm not remaking it again. At least, not anytime soon. Maybe eventually later down the line. But for now, I'm going to work with what I got lol.
And with that, for your viewing pleasure, here is the finished result lol. So here's one more simple pose (for now) of Jeff hehe. Once again, he has that smug/determined smile. As he's throwing & catching a pinecone in his hand. Likely about to throw it, or something. As like mentioned, these characters play with pinecones in the series. Which, can be a fun alternative when all else fails I suppose lol.
And well, the drawing is pretty self explanatory otherwise. So I don't think there's much else I really need to say lmao. So, what do the rest of you think? Again, I wish I had colored in Jeff a little bit lighter. But his skin tone is VERY tricky to get just right. As it is a dark orange. Who knows, maybe I did it wrong the whole time & this is the right way to do it lmao.
And other than the coloring, I'm very happy with everything else overall. Like the sketch itself & how the lines turned out. And the expression, the pose, etc. I'm happy with the drawing otherwise. And regardless of any mistakes made, I'm sure you all will love it anyways. So, that's all that counts for me in the end. As long as you guys are happy lol.
And with all of that that being said, I hope you all like it, and thanks for viewing! And that's officially it for now!! I'm now officially caught up! All I have left to do now, is just create all new stuff! Let's see what I can make throughout the 2026 year this year hehe. Wish me luck!!
