Wanting to learn more about what sorts of bodies of water can be found on land, Lenn decided he was going to check out a swamp. He picked a fairly big one near where he happened to be, and hopped on in with a deep breath... Promptly sinking to the bottom. Confused at the difference in density from what he was used to, he jumped and tried to swim back up, but sank down again. Apparently, he couldn't swim in swamp water! Quickly getting nervous as he realized how Blubby and Sni-tii must feel, he started trudging along the bottom to try to find a way to climb out.
It was slow going, the dolphin unfamiliar with how to walk underwater, and it wasn't helped by the fact his feet kept sticking in the muddy bottom. Frustration and desperation were both mounting as he still couldn't find a way up even as he gained a purple blush, his lungs burning... A heavy convulsion forced some bubbles from his blowhole. He NEEDED to figure something out... Then, as he pulled his foot free of the mud once again, he heard someone next to him.
