RachelTheFictionkin's Knife the Bisharp is an original character in the Pokémon universe. He is a Bisharp, the younger brother of Blade and one of the sons of the heir. In the Kitakami Wilds, Knife was born into a prestigious blade lineage. As a young Pawniard in his family's fortified castle, he lived in a city governed by his father, Guntō the Kingambit, the shogun. Respected by villagers for his rank and kindness, Knife was nonetheless bullied by other Pawniard for being a "runt" and for struggling with assigned prey, often requiring rescue. Leading a solitary life, Knife found solace in painting and literature, documenting his desire to become a strong warrior like his brother. He often ventured out, exploring the village and later other parts of Kitakami, even traveling abroad.
Knife is generally shy but kindhearted, often described as having a "heart of gold." His empathy and capacity for forgiveness extend even to the most vile, and he deeply cares for his loved ones, becoming fiercely protective of them. He's intelligent and creative, enjoys painting his surroundings and wildlife, and possesses a strong aptitude for learning, particularly history and biology. He is also self-aware and readily admits his faults. Despite his gentle nature, Knife, being part Dark-type, harbors a wicked energy. Though his intentions are good, rage can trigger frightening behavior, leading him to commit violent acts to protect those he loves.

RachelTheFictionkin's Blade the Bisharp is an original character of the Pokémon universe. Blade is a shiny Bisharp, the older brother of Knife and one of the sons of the heir. Initially resentful of Knife's birth, Blade gradually became protective of his younger sibling. In contrast to Knife, Blade is straightforward, quick-tempered, and flirtatious, possessing a provocative sense of humor.
Blade is one of the many warriors in his clan, reminiscent of feudal Japan. As the eldest son of the Shogun, Guntō the Kingambit, he is highly respected among the clan as the future ruler. Born into the imperial family as a Pawniard, his parents insisted he undergo daily physical training to prepare for the role in governing leadership. Blade trained alongside his fellow kin, hunting wild prey for food and combating against rival clans. To a greater extent as a younger and weaker version of himself, Blade displayed ambition, working diligently to impress his mother and father.
When Knife was born, Blade loathed the idea of having a brother, fearing that his presence would overshadow his accomplishments and ultimately diminish his chances of becoming the shogun of Kitakami. Blade would bully infant Knife out of spite, wishing he had never been born. However, as the years passed, Blade's mistreatment only made Knife more affectionate toward his older brother, often looking up to him as a hero. Blade soon softened, learning how precious having a sibling is, and did everything in his power to protect his younger brother, even going out of his way to strike down anyone who tried to harm him.
Blade is considered Rachel's brother-in-law. He often confronts Rachel with unconventional questions in an attempt to elicit her personal thoughts in order to help her overcome low self-esteem. As with many other Pokémon, including his brother, he has a significant attachment to Rachel. One could say that Blade is truly like an older brother to her.
