Colton is an anthropomorphic pink tabby largo slime from an alternate version of Monomi Park's Slime Rancher. A native of planet Xeno-Colloid VII, Colton serves as the assistant leader of the clan on Ring Island. He is the son of Kain and Rachel, the nephew of Clouse and Claude, and is regarded as a Nephilim—a hybrid of slime and angel—capable of celestial mimicry and gigantification.
Colton studies marine ecology and robotics to find ways to combat invasive water pollution. An accident during a seaside mission left him unable to regenerate his left arm, so his friend Sasha built him a yellow prosthetic. His robotic arm is very durable and can extend several feet, allowing Colton to reach high surfaces and assist in combat.
Colton is optimistic and friendly, greeting strangers with a warm smile and a witty quip. He makes friends easily because he’s genuinely curious about others and loves sharing his knowledge. He’s highly adaptable, resourceful, gentle, patient, and protective of his friends.
He and others live in a tribal setting blended with modern and futuristic technology. They have their own language and values too. This universe takes heavy inspiration from James Cameron's Avatar.
