Poina is Amazonian Yanomamö for "Bow"

Poina was born into contradiction—an Arcayena with the fire-blood of an Arcanine mother and the cunning instincts of a Mightyena father. Among her towering, broad-shouldered Arcanine kin, she was noticeably smaller and lighter, her frame lacking the amazonian build that defined most of the tribe’s women. Where others relied on brute strength or explosive speed, Poina learned to rely on something far subtler: her mind and her extraordinary gift for observation. She notices everything—how a packmate shifts in stance before they speak, the faintest change in the wind that signals an approaching storm, or the almost imperceptible twitch of an enemy’s muscles. Her eyes and ears are always alert, and her memory for detail is uncanny.
