Character Sheet for Noraxia
Character Description
Noraxia is a majestic Furred Dragon with a dense, luxurious coat of fur. Her color palette is inspired by the deep autumns of Silvania: a primary coat of rich mahogany and earthy browns, accented by vibrant ochre underpinnings and golden-orange wing membranes.
Distinguishing Features: Sharp, swept-back horns; expressive, intelligent eyes; and a "lion-like" tail tuft that tends to twitch when she’s deep in thought.
Personality
Noraxia is the quintessential "gentle giant," though the "gentle" part is a choice she makes daily. She is highly observant and patient, possessing the stillness of a mountain. She rarely speaks first, preferring to listen and gauge the "vibe" of a room (or a forest).
She is fiercely protective, especially of those smaller than her. While she is slow to anger, she possesses a terrifying physical presence when her home or her mate is threatened. Deep down, she has a dry, understated sense of humor and a boundless curiosity about the spiritual world that her mate, Jukrit, inhabits.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: High-altitude sunbathing on sun-warmed granite; the scent of Silvania’s pine forests after a rain; Jukrit’s shamanic chanting (it lulls her to sleep); and the feeling of the wind catching her wings at terminal velocity.
Dislikes: Enclosed spaces or low ceilings (for obvious reasons); the sound of industrial machinery; being treated like a "beast" because of her feral size; and anyone who underestimates a squirrel.
Background/History
Noraxia was born in the high crags of the Northern Ranges. Her early life was defined by the solitude of the skies until a chance encounter with a certain persistent squirrel shaman changed the trajectory of her flight path forever.
Relatives/Family
Mate: Jukrit, a Shaman Squirrel. Their bond is legendary—or at least highly gossiped about—across the planet Silvania.
Extended Family: She has a sister named Thaxia, who was at first skeptical of Noraxia's relationship with Jukrit.
World/Setting
Silvania is a world of speculative biological wonders, a mysterious blue mineral called ambientite, and two moons. It is a planet dominated by massive, ancient forests, floating mountain archipelagos, and a rich biodiversity. The atmosphere is thick and oxygen-rich, allowing for the existence of massive flyers like Noraxia and the diverse, whimsical creatures that populate its many biomes.
Body
Feral Form: A massive, powerful quadruped weighing approximately 3,000 lbs. From her noble snout to the tip of her tufted tail, she stretches roughly 27 feet in length. In this form, she moves with the silent, heavy grace of a large feline, her fur rippling over dense muscle.
Anthro Form: Standing at a towering 10 feet tall, Noraxia is an imposing figure. She retains her massive wings and powerful tail, which she uses for balance. Despite her over 850-lb frame, she carries herself with a grounded, approachable dignity.
Clothing
Often dressed in rugged, practical gear like cargo shorts and tank tops during the summer months. She wears additional clothing during the winter, but only when she feels like it.
