I had a similar reaction when my hand mixer decided to catch itself and shatter... Thankfully I wasn't hurt. The cookie dough on the other hand was not as lucky. RIP
At least Walmart had a cheap replacement. Ended up getting a stand mixer for about $120. I guess Drew Barrymore has some Walmart promotional brand called Beautiful attempting to undercut the traditional Kitchen-aid market.

... no chance you don't ahve more sugar. those two just don't know where it's stored. these are reasonable adults in that household, they know they always need extra in case of a suprise aunt visit.
also i doubt it will be bad if you don't try to hide the mess and clean up properly. now, if you tried to hide any of the mess though and didn't clean up after yourselves.... then no cookies for you.
