Marissa was taking her afterschool dump when she saw them.
She had just ducked into her usual alley and popped a squat, when she saw Zoe running by with what looked like a small kid, or…maybe a Pokemon? It was kind of hard for Marissa to tell, given it was only a brief glimpse. Still squatting, she leaned forward to peek out from her hiding place; her long, brown hightail touched the ground as she craned her neck sideways.
There, at the end of the last block, she could just barely see them go slightly to the right, off into the forest.
Gotta pinch this off quick if I wanna see what’s goin’ on! she thought to herself. She wrapped her arms around her belly and pushed, grunting as she forced solid, sticky mess into the seat of her already soaked Pikabluey diaper; the heavy seat of the flocked, hook-and-loop garment bulged under the added weight, but held firm.
After a couple of minutes, Marissa finished relieving herself. Sighing contentedly, she adjusted her layered brown skirt, tied her pink-and-white shoes, and stood up. “Wait for me!” she called, picking up her pink bookbag and dashing off in the direction she saw her classmate go.

“So,” Zoe said, holding up an orange disk. “This is a TM. You just need to, like, watch the video it plays, and you learn the move, I guess?” She shrugged. “I forgot to ask my cousin how it worked, exactly, so I’m kinda just wingin’ it right now.” The girl was wearing her usual school attire, with the addition of a multicolor bead bracelet with a silver half-heart charm on the end.
“Oh?” New KId replied, cocking their head in puzzlement. Today the shiny Ogerpon was wearing their red and yellow Hearthflame mask, along with matching poncho and cloth diaper. As well, the counterpart to Zoe’s heart bracelet was on their right leg as an anklet.
The two were in a small, fenced-in area under some low-hanging trees a little ways into the woods. While the enclosure didn’t seem to be associated with any of the houses or other properties in the area, the rest of the neighborhood was still visible, if a little far off.
“Oh, wait a sec,” Zoe said, frowning. “Did I even bring a laptop or something to play this dang thing on?” She set down her backpack and started to open it.
Suddenly, the sound of someone crunching through undergrowth approached. Zoe and New Kid looked at each other, unsure of what to do other than keep quiet.
Marissa’s turquoise top and pink hairbeads were instantly visible as she popped through the entrance to the enclosure. “A-ha! I thought I saw you run over here, Zoe!” She pointed to New Kid. “Who’s your friend?”
The Ogerpon had slipped their mask back down just before this interloper appeared. Being startled at her sudden appearance, New Kid couldn’t help but let out a little squeak as they flooded their diaper in surprise; the thick, fluffy garment quickly grew sodden and heavy. “P-pon…” the Pokemon whimpered.
“Ah! Marissa?” Zoe shouted in surprise. She then frowned. “Hey, you scared them!” She turned to her Pokemon pal, “Aww, it’s okay, she’s a friend,” Zoe explained, pointing at Marissa.
New Kid sniffled. “O-oger?” they said, lifting their mask just enough to get a better look at the girl. Their large yellow eyes sparkled in the darkness.
“Oh, wow, is that a Pokemon?!” Marissa asked excitedly. After another glare from Zoe, she lowered her voice.”Sorry.” Turning to New Kid, she introduced herself. “Um, so, you’re a Pokemon? That’s cool! I’m Marissa.” She held out a hand. “Sorry I scared you.”
Finally calming down, the Pokemon reached out and returned the handshake. “Oger oger, pon!” they said before taking off their mask completely.
“That’s Ogerpon, but I call them ‘New Kid,” Zoe informed her.
“Aww, you’re so cute!” Marissa exclaimed with a big smile. “I could just reach over and hug you!” New Kid frowned. “Uh, I won’t, though!” the girl hastily added.
“Listen,” Zoe said, “As you can see, they’re very shy. You have to keep them a secret, okay?”
“Okay!” Marissa agreed, nodding enthusiastically. “You can trust me, New Kid!” She looked around. “So, this is your house, then?” Before anyone could answer, she noticed the disk in Zoe’s hand. “Oh, that’s a Technical Machine, right? What move is it?”
“Oh, is that what TM stands for?” Zoe asked. “I probably shoulda known that..” she muttered, before responding, “Um, anyway, New Kid is a fire-type right now, so I got this fire move here to try and teach ‘em. I think it’s called Inferno? Though..." she quickly looked through her backpack, confirming what she already suspected. "I think it’s a wash anyway, since we don’t have a dvd player or anything here…””
Marissa reached for the disk. “Lemme see it.”
“Uh, actually,” Zoe said, pulling her hand back. “Could you do us a favor and go change your diaper first? Cuz girl, you stink!”
Marissa blushed. “Ah, sorry, yeah, I guess I should…”
“Gerpon!” New Kid nodded in agreement.
