"Whomever may be out there. Could be anyone in this town for all we know. I?ll bet it?s someone unwilling to show their face like the coward they are. Probably with some lackeys to boot that?ll probably come after us too," figured Crow.
"It must be my lucky day because I?ve found a well-known Synchro user," stated the figure.
"Looks like it?s my lucky day too. I was hoping someone responsible for the town?s mess to show up so I could help clean things up a bit," replied Crow.
"We intend to do all the cleaning up around here so let?s get things started with a Duel," said the figure.
"Here comes Black-Winged Dragon (2800 ATK) in Attack Mode!" responded Crow.
"Your ignorance will be your downfall as your combo was totally wasted. Come my next turn, you?ll be the first victim of the new Team New World!" declared Jacob.
"I don?t think so. I?ll lay this down and end my turn," replied Crow. (Hand: 1 card)
"Then I hope your Black-Winged Dragon is ready to be sent to the great birds nest in the sky. Kaiser Granel, destroy his Black-Winged Dragon!" stated Jacob drawing his card.
"Go Synchro Strike! It raises Black-Winged Dragon?s ATK by 1000 points for the 2 Synchro Materials used to Summon it!" countered Crow. Black-Winged Dragon?s ATK rises to 3800,
"Not even half my monster?s ATK so it?s still a grounded bird," noted Jacob. Black-Winged Dragon is destroyed and Crow?s LP drops to 5900.
"We?ve got a long way to go, old timer. You?ve got nothing to celebrate just yet," reminded Crow.
"You just wait and see what else I?ve got. I?ll Summon Granel Slicer (1400 ATK) in Attack Mode and end my turn, but thanks to Granel Boost, I get 500 more Life Points," stated Jacob .His LP rises to 8500. (Hand: 3 cards)
"Time to cut your behemoth down some more. My Pot of Greed should be a good start. I can draw 2 cards. Next I?ll play Black Whirlwind, which lets me get more of the flock as soon as I Summon its friends to my field. I?ll bring out Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn (2000 ATK) in Attack Mode since you control a monster. This activates Black Whirlwind to get Blackwing - Breeze the Zephyr, which I can then Special Summon (300 DEF) in Defense Mode since it was added to my hand by an effect. Now I?ll activate Sirocco the Dawn?s effect and give it 1100 ATK from Breeze the Zephyr. Sirocco?s ATK rises to 3100. Sirocco, send that Slicer to the scrap heap," explained Crow. Granel Slicer is destroyed and Jacob?s score drops to 6800.
"Minimal effort when you?re about to lose," remarked Jacob.
"Just go," snapped Crow. (Hand: 0 cards)
"I shall, and play Granel Power to let my Kaiser Granel deal you piercing battle damage by lowering its ATK by 1000. Kaiser Granel?s ATK drops to 7000. Granel Kaiser, blow that Breeze away!" began Jacob.
"Got ya! I had another Set card and you were so confident your attack would be my undoing. Now it?s time to undo you with Black Sonic! It banishes all monsters you have in Attack Mode so you?re saying goodbye to your Kaiser Granel!" smirked Crow. Kaiser Granel disappears from the field.
"You think it?s over, but you?ve allowed me to evolve my Granel Kaiser. It now becomes Granel Guardian (0 ATK) in Attack Mode! His score rises to 7300 via Granel Boost. It?s not affected by your Spell or Trap Cards and can attack twice per turn, not to mention gains 1000 ATK for all Granel cards in my Grave. Granel Guardian?s ATK rises to 4000. Since it?s still my turn, Granel Guardian, take down Sirocco the Dawn and Breeze the Zephyr! Both monsters are destroyed and Crow?s LP drops to 3900. I?ll set 2 cards and end my turn," finished Jacob. (Hand: 0 cards)
"Alright, Crow. You need a strategy for this bigger behemoth. Luckily, it?s only half the beast his Kaiser Granel was, but it?s packing some serious defenses. I?ll need some sort of powerhouse this turn This?ll do. I play Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North (1300 ATK) in Attack Mode. This activates Black Whirlwind and Blizzard?s effects. The flock is about to come together into something truly spectacular. Your Granel Deck is about to be shaken to its core," assured Crow.
