"Doesn?t really feel like my flock is together with how these Duel Disks are messed up. Sure wish I had an idea of who was behind it. I hope they?re watching so I can give them a very personal message. We?re not happy with your shenanigans, got it? I think it?s time we ruffled your feathers, wherever you are so come on down and let?s dance!" yelled Crow.
"Who are you talking to?" asked Akiza.
"Whomever may be out there. Could be anyone in this town for all we know. I?ll bet it?s someone unwilling to show their face like the coward they are. Probably with some lackeys to boot that?ll probably come after us too," figured Crow.
"Well you?d better not give too much attention to yourself. You might just get it. If they?re capable of messing up Duel Disks, there?s no telling what else they could do," remarked Akiza. A figure appears.
"It must be my lucky day because I?ve found a well-known Synchro user," stated the figure.
"Looks like it?s my lucky day too. I was hoping someone responsible for the town?s mess to show up so I could help clean things up a bit," replied Crow.
"We intend to do all the cleaning up around here so let?s get things started with a Duel," said the figure.
"I?ll accept this one. It?s going to be fun taking down someone trying to destroy the world," agreed Crow.
"There?s just one stipulation. If you Synchro Summon, you take damage equal to its ATK. Plus when I win, I take your Synchro for good," noted the figure.
"I should?ve expected this from someone trying to destroy the world. I guess you?re part of Team New World. Nothing I can?t handle so let?s go!" admitted Crow.
"Then the first move is mine. I?ll play Granel Soldier (0 ATK) in Attack Mode, then Set 1 card to end my turn," said the figure. (Hand 4 cards)
"Now I know you?re up to something as otherwise you wouldn?t be so bold as to put a monster that weak in Attack Mode. I?ll just have to get rid of it without attacking. I play Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame (1800 ATK) in Attack Mode. Next, I?ll use Black Gust to return your monster right to your hand," began Crow.
"On the contrary, this activates Granel Soldier?s effect, destroying it. Furthermore, it lets me bring out Granel Knight (0 ATK) in Attack Mode from my Deck," corrected the figure.
"That?s two Granel monsters in a row. I think I?ve seen this guy before. You?re Jacob, the leader of Team New World and the muscle behind the whole operation," realized Crow.
"I?m also the muscle behind this Duel," added Jacob.
"Whatever. I?ll Set 2 cards and end my turn," continued Crow. (Hand: 2 cards)
"Then I?ll continue by playing Granel Charge, which destroys both my monsters and lets me bring out Meklord Kaiser Granel (0 ATK) from my Deck in Attack Mode. His ATK is double my Life Points so that?s 16,000. Kaiser Granel?s ATK rises to 16,000. However, it can?t attack this turn and halves battle damage it deals you. Still, it?s more than enough muscle to beat you when the time comes. Now I?ll activate Granel Boost, which?ll give me 500 Life Points each time I Summon a Granel monster. I?ll Set 1 card and end my turn," finished Jacob (Hand 3 cards)
"I know a way to cut your monster down to size. Come out Gale the Whirlwind (1300 ATK) in Attack Mode. Next comes his ability, which cuts your monster?s ATK in half! Kaiser Granel?s ATK drops to 8000. Plus, I?ll add Synchro Boost to raise Gale?s ATK by 500 and its Level by 1. Gale becomes Level 4 and its ATK rises to 1800. Now I?ll give them both a tune-up and bring out something that?ll really take flight. Here comes Black-Winged Dragon (2800 ATK) in Attack Mode!" responded Crow.
"You?ve only done yourself in as you now take damage equal to your Synchro?s ATK," noted Jacob.
"Nah, I knew that was coming. I?ll activate my face-down card, Blackwing Feast! Since I have a Synchro Monster out, you can?t damage me by any means this turn," smirked Crow.
"Your ignorance will be your downfall as your combo was totally wasted. Come my next turn, you?ll be the first victim of the new Team New World!" declared Jacob.
