Episode 15: Live streaming
In the night, Jerony as usual, went to the CIA office in the Adventure City sector for his daily tasks.
Meanwhile, the puppies stay at home, doing a YouTube live stream to get rid of boredom.
The stream was filled with their playful antics, from a mock cooking show using their toy kitchen to a talent show where each puppy showcased their special skills.
Even though their subscribers on YouTube are only hundreds, they enjoyed the interaction with their virtual audience.
At that time, they were in the living room, sitting in a row in front of the camera connected to Luna's laptop.
"Alright the subscribers of The Pups Gang channel... We, the Pups Gang Puppies will do Q&A... You can ask all of us through the live chat column," Svara announced into the camera with a wag of her tail, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
Meanwhile, Luna was looking at her one of her laptop screen, scrolling through the live chat.
"Okay, first question, it's for all of us, The Pups Gang," she announced, "since you moved into your new home in Adventure City, what have you guys missed the most about your old home in Indonesia?"
The puppies looked at each other, their tails drooping slightly as they thought of their old life.
"Well, I miss the warm weather," Maxtone spoke first, his eyes distant. "And the beach... We used to play fetch there all the time."
"I miss the street food... Especially... Lumpia Semarang, I really crave for it," Svara licked her lips, her eyes dreaming of the delicious treat.
"I really miss going to Simpang Lima Semarang, because that's where we found each other," Anna said with a wistful look, her eyes filled with memories of their first meeting.
The puppies told stories of their adventures in Indonesia, sharing the moments that had shaped their friendship. Their tales of playing in the bustling streets of Semarang and discovering the hidden beauty of the city brought smiles to their faces.
Luna scrolling through the chat, found a question that caught her attention.
"Ouh... This is a question for me... Hey Luna... You're a puppy but you can use the laptop... How do you type on your laptop with your paws?" She reads out loud.
"Well... That's easy," Luna began, her tail wagging, "Svara, point the camera at my laptop, will you?"
As Svara adjusted the camera angle, Luna used her teeth to flip open her another laptop that was lying next to her.
When starting to type, instead of a word or sentence that appears on the screen, instead a few messy letters, "XGHVFYTR," popped up.
"Ouh?!?? What happens," Luna looked confused, trying to hit the backspace key with her nose, "usually I always succeed in doing it."
She tried again but ended up with even more messy letters, "XCVBZFDSKHVNEG."
The other puppies laughing, their barks echoing around the room.
"Well... Sorry, my subscribers... I think I could only do this when I'm really focused and serious mode is on," Luna said sheepishly, her ears drooping slightly as she closed the laptop with a whine.
As long as they live streaming, the questions from their subscribers kept flowing. Some asked about their favorite games, their favorite treats, and even their relationship status.
The Pups Gang found themselves enjoying the interaction, each sharing a piece of themselves with their online fans.
"Okay... The last question in this session... The question for Hershell... How do you feel being the youngest and the only one who still wears diapers?" Luna read from the chat, her tail swishing with amusement.
Hershell looked up at the camera, his eyes wide with surprise. He had been so absorbed in the live stream that he had forgotten about his unique condition. He paused for a moment before speaking.
"Well... Honestly, I wear diapers not because I want to, but because I have to... My bladder doesn't work like yours and my friends... So, all the time, I'm always peed... It's a bit awkward and embarrassing, but... Yeah... Even though I was the youngest and the only one who still needs to wear diapers, I'm still part of The Pups Gang... And... I don't let it hold me back," he said with a proud wag of his tail.
The other puppies looked at him with admiration, their eyes full of support and affection. Jerony had taught them to always be there for each other, regardless of their differences.
"Alright subscribers!! Our Q&A is over and we are at the end of our live stream, see you again next time and don't forget..." Svara said loudly and then the other puppies said, "like, share, and subscribe to The Pups Gang channel!"
They all wagged their tails as they gave their signature puppy smiles to the camera before Svara turned off the live stream.
"Wow, it's almost dinner time... But I think, Master haven't home yet, right?!??!" Maxtone looked at the clock.
"Who says I'm not home yet?" Jerony called them from behind, holding a bag of takeout food.
The puppies shocked and turned around to see Jerony sitting on the couch with a bag of takeout food in his hands, a knowing smile on his face.
"How long have you been there, Master?" Anna asked, her tail swishing.
"Two minutes before your live stream ended," Jerony replied, his smile widening as he placed the bag of takeout food on the table.
"What?!?? How can we didn't realize it, Master?!" Svara's eyes widened in surprise, her tail wagging in excitement.
"It's a long story... Right Luna?!??" Jerony winked at Luna who still sat down right in front of her laptop.
"That's right, Master... Actually, he was home when we still live streaming... But he told me to not tell you guys," Luna said, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she wagged her tail.
"Alright, pups... Let's get some dinner... Take your bowl in the kitchen," Jerony said, holding the bag of takeout food.
The puppies scurried to the kitchen, their tails wagging with anticipation.
Not long after, the puppies comes back to the living room with their bowls, their mouths watering as they saw their owner, Jerony, unpacking the takeout food. The aroma of the food filled the room, making their stomachs growl even louder.
"Alright, who's hungry?" Jerony asked, his eyes twinkling as he pulled out containers of juicy meat, steaming rice, and crispy vegetables.
The pups barked in response, their tails wagging so hard they could almost fly.
Maxtone couldn't contain his excitement anymore and rushed to his master, dropping his bowl in front of Jerony.
"Master, can I have some of that?" he begged, his eyes fixed on a piece of chicken that looked extra tasty.
"Of course, every pups get the same amount," Jerony said, filling each bowl with the delicious feast.
The puppies took their bowls and settled into their usual spots around the living room rug. They chowed down their meals with gusto, the sound of chewing and happy munching bouncing off the walls.
"Puppies... I watched your live streaming while I was traveling home, I heard you miss our old place in Indonesia," Jerony said, serving himself a plate of food.
"Yeah, Master... We really miss our adventures in Semarang," Anna said, her bicolor eyes looking up at Jerony as she gnawed on a piece of chicken.
"How about like this, pups... Next week, we can have a vacation trip to Semarang!" Jerony announced, his voice filled with excitement.
"Really!!???!!!" The puppies' ears perked up and their tails started wagging uncontrollably at the mention of their old stomping ground.
"You mean, we can go back to Semarang?" Svara squealed, her eyes wide with excitement.
"Of course... Besides, I've got my two weeks leave from the office... So, why don't we take this opportunity to visit our old home?" Jerony said, his smile growing as he watched the puppies' reaction.
"That's great idea, Master!!!!" The puppies barked in unison, their tails thumping on the floor as they danced around in excitement.
"Get prepared for next week, puppies... We'll have an adventure of a lifetime," Jerony said, his voice filled with excitement.
The thought of going back to Semarang brought warmth to his heart.
"Uuuhhhh... I can't believe it... We going back to Semarang!" Luna yipped, her tail wagging so fast it was a blur.
"Lumpia Semarang, I really want to eat that again," Svara said with a sigh, her eyes glazed over with nostalgia.
"Me too," Maxtone agreed, dropping a piece of chicken into his mouth. "The beach... The warm sand between my paws... And the taste of coconut water after playing fetch."
"And don't forget the street food!" Anna exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement. "We can finally have those delicious meatballs and noodles again!"
The room buzzed with excitement as each pup thought of their favorite foods and places in Semarang.
They talked about the adventures they would have and the friends they would see, their tails wagging in anticipation.
