Character Description

The Ix Clan has watched over this land for generations, acting as scouts, wardens, and hunters who ensure that the forest’s fragile balance is never disturbed by careless outsiders. From a young age, Fenris proved she had inherited the defining traits of her Linoone bloodline—speed, awareness, and a natural ability to navigate the forest’s twisting paths without hesitation. She and her brother, Otsulon Ix, grew up running along the high roots and fallen trunks that crisscross the woodland floor, racing through the shadows while elders taught them the deeper responsibilities of their clan. But while Otsulon developed a more traditional sense of duty, Fenris grew into something more unpredictable.

Background/History

Note: Where many protectors of the forest rely strictly on discipline and caution, Fenris understands that control comes in many forms. She is clever, observant, and comfortable using whatever advantages she has at her disposal. This includes her charm and open confidence in her own sexuality, something she wields as naturally as any weapon. Fenris has little shame about using flirtation, suggestive humor, or disarming body language to distract, confuse, or manipulate people when it benefits her goals. To her, it’s simply another strategy—no different from a hunter luring prey into the open.

Note: Despite this playful and sometimes provocative nature, Fenris takes her duty to the forest seriously. She serves as one of the Ix Clan’s protectors, patrolling the deeper regions of Obelisk Forest and intercepting anyone foolish enough to believe the wilderness is undefended. She is particularly skilled at tracking movement through dense undergrowth and reading subtle disturbances in the terrain, making it very difficult for unwanted individuals to slip through unnoticed.

Note: One of the most important alliances maintained by the Ix Clan is their symbiotic relationship with the Treejumper Tribe, a community known for their remarkable mobility among the upper canopy of the forest. While the Treejumpers monitor the high branches and aerial paths, the Ix Clan controls the ground below. Fenris frequently works alongside them, coordinating movements and sharing information about threats moving through the forest. This partnership allows both groups to maintain a nearly complete awareness of what happens within their territory.

Note: Those who meet Fenris for the first time often underestimate her, mistaking her teasing nature for carelessness. But beneath the playful exterior is a sharp mind and a deeply loyal protector who knows exactly when to stop joking and start acting. When the forest is threatened, Fenris moves with frightening speed and precision, transforming from a flirtatious trickster into a relentless guardian in the blink of an eye.
