After two friends heard of an island where visitors are turned into dragons, they just had to check the place out! They headed over, and after they did indeed get transformed, they set about having fun in their new forms. One of the first things they did was go for a dive together in a nice pond they found, although one of them was just as uncomfortable about the water as usual... The other did their best to comfort them, hugging them with a wing while trying to reassure them. Hopefully they were going to enjoy diving together... And even if they didn't, there was still lots more to see!
This is based on an RP squirtlerocks07 and I are currently doing; I'm playing the dragon on the left, and he's the one on the right.
Now, for your mind-rotating pleasure, here's the description of the island and its vicinity that I made up:
Area size: ~16 square miles, including the ocean around it
A large unpopulated island vaguely shaped like a dragon (Like the default map of WorldBox, but more curled and without archipelago "wings"), with several different regions and a good amount to explore.
The island itself is governed by a spirit, which does not allow sapient non-dragon beings on or near it, instead turning them into quadrupedal dragons and reverting them when they leave.
What sort of dragon someone becomes can be changed if they want by speaking their request while looking into a reflective surface, but the first is always one they'll like. A dragon form will never normally be smaller than a large dog, nor bigger than a truck. The front paws have thumbs, but those limbs are still legs; walking on just the back legs is technically possible, but very clearly not feasible for actually getting far. A dragon form can have a breath weapon of some kind, but won't always.
The spirit sees no reason to transform those that are naturally quadrupedal dragons, and won't just do that, but will if requested.
Anyone approaching the island that dislikes dragons feels a sense of dread, and constant bad luck safely keeps them from getting close enough to be transformed.
Reflective surfaces are fairly common, even underwater, letting people get a good look at their dragon form pretty much regardless of wherever they are.
Roughly 15% of the island is covered by water in assorted places like lakes.
The island's spirit only rarely talks to anyone, preferring to be an unseen helper to its visitors so they enjoy their time on the island, aided by being able to sense its visitors' intentions. It appears even more rarely, only in reflections (It'll guide someone toward a reflective surface if needed), and is a random dragon each time it's seen, including if someone looks away and looks back or closes their eyes for longer than a blink.
If someone wants an accessory of some sort, they'll happen to find it laying around as a "coincidence", the spirit having created it for them. It disappears if someone tries to bring it out of the spirit's influence.
If someone gets in trouble unwillingly, something will appear to help them; "coincidences" to guide them if they're lost, air sources if they're underwater and running out of breath, a strong updraft if they're falling, things like that. If it's willing, no help will come until it's absolutely needed; someone underwater will be allowed to go as far as they want, including drowning and passing out, before suddenly finding themselves on the shore unharmed.
Visitors are allowed to stay overnight, but not to just live on the island. A visitor will always happen across shelter when it's needed, but any significant structures they attempt to build will always fall apart, and anyone intending on a long-term stay (Over a week) will get progressively worse luck until they want to leave.
Exiting the area of the island spirit's influence isn't possible by swimming, as strong currents push people back (Though that's more to keep visitors from swimming so far out they suddenly change back). Leaving via flight is only possible if the person's original form is capable of flight (And, obviously, if their dragon form can fly), otherwise strong winds push them back. If a person somehow has no way off the island at all, once they want to leave, the next time they sleep they'll have an extremely vivid dream of riding on a huge white dragon that apologizes for the trouble, and wake up at their home.

Regions and POIs
-----------------------
There are more POIs than are listed here, these are just examples.
Forest and plains
A relatively simple area, not quite as many interesting things. Lakes and rivers and such, and occasional ruins to explore. The forest area has a fairly large abandoned temple that's partially flooded and connects to one of the lakes.
Desert
Despite what one would expect, its temperature never goes above or below what's comfortable. It has the least water, but there's still some around, mainly in oases. There's a pyramid with a pool and some harmless "traps" inside.
Arctic
Like the desert, it's never uncomfortably cold. It's fairly similar to the forest and plains, though any still water has a frozen surface. An area that connects to the ocean has a glacier with a cave in it, and elsewhere in the region is a mountain.
Volcanic
Makes up the island's "head". Once again, USUALLY not uncomfortably hot. Not much water, but more than the desert, and the only region to have lava. All dragons can safely dive in lava, the temperature of which feels like a slightly too hot hot tub, and it's only a little thicker than water. Where the island's "nostrils" would be are volcanoes.
Town
An abandoned town, overgrown with plant life. If someone intends to stay overnight on the island, coming here will cause at least one building to be in far better condition, giving them a place to stay the night.
Ocean
Has just about every interesting sort of thing one could expect: Shipwrecks, ruins, caves, reefs, all that goodness. A cave acting as the island's "mouth" leads deep into the center of the island, where a huge crystal can be found. The crystal is what holds the island's spirit, and it will always answer if called for there. It's more than capable of defending itself if necessary.
-----------------------
Plants
-----------------------
While the animals of the island aren't anything too special beyond never being hostile, there are odd varieties of plants that grow nowhere else. They mostly grow in the forest and town regions, though occasionally in the arctic region, and some only grow underwater. Edible plants never have a taste or texture that's unpleasant to whoever eats them, and if removed from the island's area they have no effect and very quickly go bad.
Growfruit: Looks like a blue pear, but smaller. When eaten, increases the person's size by 100% for an hour. The size increase stacks additively if more are eaten.
Shrinkberry: About half the size of a pingpong ball, looks like a greenish-blue berry. When eaten, reduces the person's size by 50% for an hour. The size decrease stacks multiplicatively if more are eaten.
True dragonfruit: A rare gold-colored dragonfruit. There are no more than a dozen on the island at a time, one of which always appears at the top of the arctic region's mountain. When eaten, drastically empowers the next use of the person's breath weapon (About 10X more area covered) or gives them a random breath weapon if they don't have one.
Aeroquatic fruit: Looks like a bubble that's a few inches wide, though is mostly opaque. When eaten, the next time the person holds their breath, they become able to swim and blow bubbles in the air as if they're underwater. This lasts until the next time they inhale.
Rock-bottom bulb: Looks sort of like a blue onion, only grows underwater. When eaten underwater, the person is then able to move as if they're on land, with no resistance from the water whatsoever, though they still can't breathe underwater if they normally can't. Wears off once they surface, and has no effect if eaten above water unless an aeroquatic fruit is active, where it then lets the person move normally again.
There's quite a few more than this, of course.
