Oh dear.
Mark has at least realized that what he did was wrong, but still doesn't consider the seriousness of it all: What he did wasn't just stupid, it was also serious. And he's going to find out that most of the students here did equally serious things-to others, or themselves.
Not fully understanding this, of course, Mark isn't going to react to this with self-reflection (at least, not yet.) This meeting has shocked Mark fairly deeply, but is it enough to make him realize that he has, in fact, committed a serious crime and endangered not only himself but many others with his actions?
