Today's chao is of the dark fly variety, no additional substats (usually referred to as fly/normal). It technically has its standard coloration, but it's monotone instead of the typical two-tone patterns (notably its more prominent black hues have disappeared).
Edit: Being only the second entry in the Chaollenge, I felt there was a lot that could be improved. I fixed a lot of things I felt were "off" about this one, such as the face and the proportions (as well as adding a slightly better background). While I was at it, I added monotone pink and purple versions for comparison.
