Superb art by Yookey that I really wanted because it reminded me of a family tradition : at my adoptive grandmother's house, every year all the cousins lined up at the door on Christmas morning until everyone was up and ready. It was a lot of excitement piled up really early at the door.

It was Christmas morning and the cubs were really excited. Awaking early at 06:00, nobody else was up yet.
Not wanting to be naughty on Santa Paws's big day, Loupy and Snow didn't want to wake anyone ... but their parents had made the mistake of letting the Pisse-lit (bedwetter in French) Pizzly and the wolf sleep in the same crib, after much struggle to put the excited cubs to bed. And yes, Loupy was on the nice list, just like Snow, they are always on the nice but need discipline list... can't be helped.
Fiona was sleeping in another crib, so Loupy used his plush friend for a boost to get at the locking mechanism of the cribs bars. After some effort they finally got the bars released and with the bears help they lowered the side without waking the chocolate puppy still sleeping nearby.

At first they quietly crawled out of the nursery, their bare and pyjama covered paws making very little sound. But once they thought they were out of earshot they could no longer contain themselves. They charged toward the room in which the Christmas Tree, and the pile of presents beneath it, was waiting. But they knew they couldn't open the door until everyone was here.
Bouncing in excitement, and quite needing of a change, they giggled and whispered guesses about what might be waiting for them in the presents. Quiet as they tried to be, their constant little noises finally woke some of grown-ups. It was difficult to wrangle the excited cubs, but they managed to hold them still long enough for a change before they were once again charging to the door! Unable to wait on Fiona, the two cubs run inside.
