Character Sheet for Negael
Character Description
Negael means “touch,” “mark,” “affliction,” or “plague” of God
Negael did not fall in fire or judgment. She simply appeared—one moment suspended in the still, radiant order of the higher realms, the next standing beneath a modern skyline, wings fully unfurled and halo burning softly above her head. There was no command, no explanation, no sense of purpose impressed upon her being. Only the undeniable certainty that she did not belong here… and yet, here she was.

Background/History
Note: In an age of glass towers, satellites, and ceaseless noise, Negael walks openly as what she is. Her wings cannot be hidden, her halo does not dim, and the world reacts accordingly—fear, awe, disbelief, obsession. Some call her a miracle, others a hoax, still others a threat. None of them can tell her why she was sent, because she herself does not know. Heaven is silent. No prayers reach her ears, no divine summons calls her home.
Note: She feels the weight of humanity more keenly than she ever expected. Suffering presses against her senses constantly—accidents unfolding in seconds, quiet despair in crowded rooms, hope flaring and dying in the span of a heartbeat. Instinct urges her to intervene, to heal, to shield, yet without orders she hesitates. Every action feels like it might be a mistake, every miracle a possible violation of a law she no longer hears.
Note: Negael struggles to understand whether her presence is intentional or accidental. Was she sent as a sign? A warning? A test—for humanity, or for herself? Or is she a forgotten piece of a divine design that no longer accounts for a world so changed? Her halo glows steadily, her wings remain strong, yet her certainty erodes with every passing day.
Note: And so she stands between heaven and earth, visibly divine and profoundly lost—an angel without a mission in a world that cannot decide whether to worship her, fear her, or try to use her. Until an answer comes, Negael continues onward, guided only by conscience, compassion, and the unsettling possibility that this time, Heaven expects her to choose for herself.
