A nostalgic piece that brings back to the times where there was this needing to get distracted at doodling the first thoughts around the notebooks, in order to pay attention to whatever the teacher was saying and to not fall in boredom.
Aliens, rock bands, roller coasters, monsters or even symbols we didn't understand but we thought they looked cool.
The idea of this piece started during a day I forgot my tablet or any other device and I had to stay for many hours in a restaurant, and at least a friend brought a sketchbook and some pencils I could borrow. And my memories of feeling like that came back to me, so I did a doodle of a fox drawing while boring at his school desk. But this final colored piece was drawn over a Mix Media paper sheet where I printed the scan of a real notebook (if I had decided to draw over a real notebook sheet, it wouldn't have held the layers of color pencils on it). And I decided to play an educational podcast to feel like if I was in a class room, doodling again whatever came in my mind, but mainly I was reminding some doodles I remember really doing during high school.
