It's time for Soleanna Struggle and its short intro, A New Beginning! I'll go over each pic chapter by chapter and briefly explain them. Or you could read the fanfic. A New Beginning: Ch. 1 - Copter battles Conan the raccoon, holder of the Chaos Sword, who wants the Chaos Tailband and kidnapped new friend Katie the Coyote to lure Copter to him! Copter takes him off guard, but Conan escapes...
Ch. 2 - Punchy is attacked by Anubis the Jackal at Red Mountain's caves. The colorblind jackal has mistaken him for Knuckles, but he won't listen to reason. Rainbow shows up and accidentally knocks Anubis into a lava pit, but it won't be the last of Anubis...
Ch. 3 - Guard and Officer Razor the Porcupine team up to hunt the Experiments, who are now fugitives from GUN. They don't get along at first, but Razor earns Guard's respect after saving him during a fight with Conan. The raccoon is arrested.
Ch. 4 - Copter steals a motorcycle to escape as Razor attempts to arrest him. Meanwhile, Conan escapes from prison...
Ch. 5 - The Doomsayer appears before Copter once more, warning of a cataclysm coming to Soleanna, and hinting that the new Experiment 7 may be involved. Copter sets out with Punchy and Rainbow to find Experiment 7, while Conan's escape forces Razor to take Katie and her friends into protective custody...bringing them to Soleanna as well...
Soleanna Struggle Ch. 1 (two images) - Gemini's backstory in the future is explored. We learn that she lost her dear friend, Timothy the Fawn, who was consumed by the slimy Lost Ones. Gemini travels back in time hoping to erase the Lost Ones from history... (I couldn't get an image I was satisfied with for Timothy's demise...)
Ch. 1 bonus image - While sailing to Soleanna, Copter meets the mysterious old mobian known as Dimentime. He says something cryptic about seeing them again before leaving. Why does he seem familiar...?
Ch. 2 - Copter isn't the only one after Experiment 7. Experiment 8, Crash the Rhino, tries to bring the phoenix back to her creator (Bucky). The chaos at the Sun Festival caused by Dr. Eggman serves as cover for Seven's escape...
Ch. 3 - Guard is on a mission to investigate Shadow's activities, and sees him get sent to the future by Mephiles. Then, Guard witnesses a murder by the Deathbringer, who might have been aiming for him. The arriving GUN agents question Guard about what happened here. The investigation that follows will lead Guard to become a fugitive himself...
Ch. 4 (two images) - Copter finds Experiment 7 in the ruins of Dusty Desert. Her name is Heather, and she names Copter "Arthur." While the two begin to bond, Fera the Wolf approaches, trying to coax Heather into joining her. She refuses for now, but Fera leaves her to think about it.
Ch. 5 - Experiment 9, Spiny the Porcupine, fights Punchy at White Acropolis. He and Rainbow find their way into the Solaris Prototype, and end up sent to the future. (I'm REALLY giving the bare bones story explanation here...)
Ch. 6 - Copter and Heather travel through the jungle. She almost falls into the water, but Copter saves her. The water is a threat to the phoenix's life...
Ch. 7 - While searching for a way to get back to his time, Punchy is perplexed by a scene he spies in the distance. Rainbow stands over someone with a smoking gun. That someone is Punchy! Will she kill him in the future!? (Anyway, a Time Stone is used to return Punchy and Rainbow to the present.)
Ch. 8 (two images) - At Wave Ocean, the Babylon Rogues steal the Time Stone from Gemini. Though Punchy tries to catch them, they escape.
Ch. 9 - Razor is arrested by Sergeant Gunner, who really just wants to find any excuse to lock up "furry freaks." He takes his prisoner on a train to GUN Outpost Fiery Red. Copter and Gemini quickly board the train. (Also, somewhere along the way, Heather was captured by Eggman and is held in the same train car as Elise. This story has very busy chapters, to say the least.)
Ch. 10 - (The last 3 images) Fights occur aboard the train, and soon Copter has left the train clinging to Alpha, leaving Gemini to battle Fera! The wolf wants to destroy the train and kill the humans aboard, but there are good people on the train, too, so a magical grudge match unfolds! (...I could not get the Ai to depict them on the roof of the train as they are in the story.) As the train reaches the GUN outpost, Gemini meets up with Guard and Razor's friend, Chet the Cheetah. They team up to save him. And also Katie. Katie was captured at the jungle. Lots to remember for me, and the story's 19 years old ^^;
