Chucky was a little freaked out that he almost asked Brother Angus about the sword. But his reaction to Jeremy asking about the beaver soldiers is near unacceptable. Fortunately he quickly snapped out of it. So far from home, any rift in his trio's bond could spell disaster. Especially since Chucky is 'The Balance', and Jeremy is only performing his role as 'The Guardian'.
Two pages back, Chucky stops himself from asking a question he felt he shouldn't ask. And here, Jeremy is straight up asking another question that Chucky feels shouldn't be asked. Is that what you're referring to?

The archives....I am very much looking forward to the next page. I can imagine Chucky asking some very careful, but pointed questions, like, "Are skunks considered good beasts or vermin? And why?"

Oh he best not ask that question. Brother Angus will wonder how he knows about the goodbeast/vermin terminology. By this point those terms are no longer used in the same context as they were in the Redwall era, but the folks in the abbey certainly know about their historical use. 'Goodbeast' is still used occasionally as a broad term, like how it was used on the plaque outside the abbey.

And that hug between the three boys was just sweet.
for now the gentle march of this sweet adventure continues and though we may part ways with young Macy soon Shes and her family have been a treat as has seeing the abby! Feels a little like I got to visit redwall myself! wich is an incredible feeling.

Its ment the world to me. I expected a tiny cameo..instead I got to be a major charicter, at least for this part of the story...I got to be a part of your world and to influence it in ways I couldent have even hoped for. It means more then I can express.

Wait. Wouldn't the "original tapestry" still be part of the original Redwall back across the ocean, far away? Did this copy of Redwall ever had any tapestry?
Wait. Wouldn't the "original tapestry" still be part of the original Redwall back across the ocean,
Yes, the original tapestry is still in the original Redwall Abbey. The tapestry in this abbey was woven shortly after it was built (or during its construction) to reflect the colonists' narrative and worldview. The members of this abbey certainly know of the original Redwall Abbey's existence, but the story has been twisted so that they believe the original Redwall lost its way to blasphemy.

I didn't mean to ignore this page but at the time I just couldn't think of anything to comment on but I do now so... I love the interaction of the guys regarding their reason for being there. Also Macy is sooo smitten with Kev it's not funny but I also like that she seems to really like them all. She'd be a nice 4th companion! :D

God I'd love to write her in as a 4th addition, but it just wouldn't work for the story. And of course there's no way her parents would just let her wander off with three strange teenage boys.

Accidently posted twice haha but I'll add here I really like how your facial expressions have improved over the years. You've gotten to be one of my favorite for reference especially for unconventional angles and poses! :D

Thanks for those kind words, it means a lot to me. That's years and years of drawing over and over again to fit a vision I have of how I want my characters to look.
