This is a group portrait I did for a superhero game I was in called Mutants and Masterminds. Our team was called Nova Star, and included Copycat (a shapeshifter), Leech (a power drainer), Kabbalah (a Jewish sorcerer who cast spells from the Torah), Gridiron (a former football star with a suit of powered armor), Jackie Shade (mysterious mistress of darkness), and my old buddy from my Champions game, Omega Mouse (a furry flying powerhouse from another dimension). Nova Star didn't have a rich sponsor, so we operated on a low budget, Omega Mouse having to carry the team to battles in the Novamobile (an ordinary minivan). The funniest moment in the campaign was when we told Kabbalah we were going to the mall (which had been taken over by terrorists), and he asked: "Why, is there a sale?"
