This is a commission for Shimmy over Discord, who wanted their OC Chal Horn drawn in a simple standing pose – by Halloween. Chal's design, with multiple prosthetic parts and antlers, looked like a passable Halloween costume to me, except that I don't celebrate Halloween in real life. While vectoring this cyborg stag I noticed a bug in the development version of Inkscape and duly filed it.

The title comes from Parsing with Derivatives and Parsing with Zippers, two papers I read with Michael D. Adams as part of CS6101 at the National University of Singapore.
