Well Chinook brought the Mouselings of DnD to my attention and I really liked the species so I went ahead and made one of my own.

Daniel Hastern was your average Mouseling in most respects. Polite, smart, and generally someone to like. Today saw the Mouseling in the ground floor of a Tavern of sorts. The owner was apparently quite new to it all, a half elf who looked out of his element, Daniel had met him when he came into the shop he shared with his room mate and friend a Gnome named Rixlamin. The two were quite good friends sharing similar interest as well as a common continence issue and their business was good. Rix would come up with all sorts of inventions which Daniel would examine and try and iron out kinks and make them more practical and then of course market them. But he was an intelligent inventor in his own right with a keen mind for the mechanical. Which is why word often spread around town that if something needed fixing he was the one for the job. Which is why he was here. One of the Half-Elf's patrons had suggested him.

"Is the tank fixed yet?" The Half-Elf asked a bit concerned as looked at the tank.

"Yeah. Should be good now. I installed a pressure gauge and a drainage nozzle down here." Daniel told him still holding his wrench. "Just remember to keep an eye on it and vent if the arrow enters the red."

"Oh thank you so much your a life saver. Not sure how long those barrels of the brew we had would last and I had no idea how to go about using this thing." The Half-Elf said relieved that the issue was solved. "What do I owe you for the job?"

"Well...How about we just call it 200 gold and jug of that Ginger-ale?" Daniel said with a smile.

"Are you sure?" The Half-Elf asked surprised by the deal.

"Yeah I wouldn't feel right charging anymore. " Daniel said putting his tools away. And with that the happy Tavern owner and Mouseling headed upstairs where coins changed hands and the Mouseling walked on down the road to home jug of Ginger-ale in hand.
