I have a comic chapter planned that really explains things, but for now, just sort of doing a more natural 'information trickle.'

Could also be a flashback or flash forward. Alternate reality/different timeline (as in multiverse theory etc.). Dream sequence/fever dream etc. Many possibilities. My current bet is flash forward, I don't know why. Can't really base that on anything.

Theory is a big word. Like I said, I don't base that on anything. Will definitely take credit should I have made a very lucky guess though :).
