Yeahhh, I was hoping it was clear with the patrons of the bar all speaking German in the beginning of the first chapter (through bracketed speech) that those events took place in Germany, and Cynosure City is not located there. He MAY be in trouble in Germany, but managed to slip away and travel to Cynosure. That said, the heat could always catch up to him~
