An Unfortunate Underwater Predicament
Theme: Chained
When a machamp loses a bet to his gym friends and is forced to do a punishment, what will he do to survive his predicament?

What an unfortunate sight, a Machamp is seen chained up at the bottom of the ocean, about 500 feet down as he was struggling in his bindings. He was attached to an anvil and his first set of arms were bound tightly to some metal chains, unable to move a muscle! Thankfully his second pair of arms weren't chained so he used them to cover his mouth and nose with it, hoping to buy him some time.
How did this happen? Well, the machamp placed a bet with his gym friends that he can do 300 push-ups in only 5 minutes or less. Of course his friends didnt believe him and accepted the bet. Unfortunately, the machamp was just 10 push-ups away from the goal and he didnt beat it in time. So as punishment, his friends went to tie him up with chains and attach an anvil to them before dropping him off in the water, his friends know that Machamp has an impressive lung capacity, so maybe he'll be fine?
As of now its been roughly 10 minutes since the machamp submerged, and his face was getting red as he tried his best to not let so many bubbles loose, he was starting to get a little scared as well, unsure what might happen if he didnt get free.
The struggle goes on and the machamp tries his hardest to break free, but those chains weren't going anywhere as he feels his lungs start to burn.
As more time goes on, the machamp eventually ends up giving up as his face was turning a little blue 16 minutes in, looking up at the distant surface with a frown on his face, this is how he was gonna die, drowning and sleeping with the fishes, so he closed his eyes and--
Wait!!! Just before he could do that, a dolphin just happens to come by and see him like this. Immediately they were in disbelief and shock as they rush over to help the machamp, at first the dolphin couldnt figure out how to free him, but by the whole ocean's animal family helping him out by a sheer mircule he finally broke free of the chains! It was still a long way up to the surface tho, so the machamp had to get swimming! But then, the dolphin from eariler came over to offer the machamp a ride, and he gladly accepted as he focused on holding his breath now and letting the dolphin swim up quickly towards the surface.
It didnt take long with how fast the dolphin was going to surface with the machamp gasping heavily for air, he was thankful he didnt inhale any water on the way up, but he was really close to doing so.
He was very glad that the underwater community was so helpful in getting him freed, but now I think he has to go get some revenge for what his friends made him do, this is unacceptable for the machamp!

A moment or two of deep silence
Theme: Relax
Mewtwo has been under a ton of stress recently and he's worried that his cave won't be enough to fully relax him, lets see what happens when he tries to meditate somewhere new

Poor Mewtwo, he's been under a lot of stress recently ever since he got into a lot of fights with legendary pokemon. He needed a break, and what better way to relax then to do meditation. Normally he would he go into his cave to meditate, but... his stress levels are through the roof, so maybe he could try meditating somewhere a lot more quieter, like deep underwater instead, his lung capacity is very impressive and can last 2 hours easily without air, and can handle the harshest pressure of the water, so that should be plenty of time for mewtwo to relax.
After teleporting himself to an ocean where he knows is the quietest, he takes a deep calming breath of air and lets himself sink underwater, not bothering to swim down and just letting his body naturally sink towards the bottom of the ocean which is roughly 900 feet. Mewtwo took his time to sink, admiring how quiet and peaceful this place really was, only a few fish swim by, some of them stopping to look at mewtwo for a bit before swimming away
About 5 minutes already passes as Mewtwo keeps sinking, moving his hand to gently pinch his nose shut so he doesnt waste any air, his eyes peacefully closed as well, the ocean around him gets darker and darker the more he sinks down. Mewtwo was doing perfectly fine on air, not even feeling any need to breathe.
10 minutes later, he gently touches the bottom of the ocean, it was peacefully dark at this depth and he sits down, already getting into a meditative position as he was feeling so much better now.
Mewtwo continues to sit peacefully and meditate for the next hour, the only signs of him needing air is the occasional bubble being released from his mouth, his nose still pinched shut as his face was flushing a little red. Nobody has came to bother him luckily, the occasional fish swimming by and maybe some other marine animal floating by, but other then that he was completely at ease. He would be surprised if anyone were to make it to this depth, so he has nothing to worry about.
Mewtwo's tail sways gently back and forth as he was perfectly at ease, a visible smile even forming on his face with how calm and happy he is now, this was definitely a good idea.
30 more minutes later, a few fish had come to watch mewtwo meditate, and while they didnt understand much about it, just seeing him happy was enough to stick around and make mewtwo feel even more at ease, it almost looked like mewtwo was sleeping with how relaxed he was, even laying down to get cozy, and soon enough he did fall asleep!
For another hour he slept on the ocean floor, his face was growing fully red and almost a bit blue, eventually tho he woke up, but he totally forgot where he was! He looked around, confused for a moment, he figured it was nighttime and he was looking at the sky, but something seemed off with that statement. As he saw bubbles fly from my mouth, that snapped him back to reality as he lets a sudden burst of bubbles out, covering his mouth before making his way back to the surface, thankfully he can swim really quickly, so it didnt take long for him to make it back safe and sound, gasping for breath as he did.
Giving himself a moment to catch his breath, Mewtwo smiles at a bit at himself, that was probably a new record he set, and that made him wag his tail just a little, but once he saw it he blushed in embrassament, hoping nobody just saw that happen from a usually stern pokemon.
Soon, he teleports away back to his cave, feeling so much better then before, he'll definitely be returning to that spot for another meditation session soon, but for now he's gonna take a real nap in his cave, a constant smile on his face as he drifts off to sleep.

Friendship is way more important

Me and my treecko buddy were heading out on a dive after a few weeks of not diving together, however treecko is gonna have to decide what's more important here, find out what happens next!

It was a normal sunny afternoon, and me and my treecko buddy were on our way to a lake not too far from here, to do some diving together, my tail was wagging a little in excitement as we havent gone on a dive together in quite some time. We had on goggles and I had my swim trunks on.
Me and treecko eventually get to the lake and start to do some deep breathing to prepare our lungs for the dive ahead, of course as always I was nervous but treecko was there to help me out so I wouldn't be so scared, it didnt take long before I felt better and we took a last breath and dove underwater together.
Letting a few bubbles loose me and Treecko started to swim down towards the bottom of the lake, looking around at the peaceful area with puffy cheeked smiles on our faces and our tails wagging slowly.
As we touch the bottom of the lake, about 80 feet down, I whimper a little in slightly fear before the treecko pulls me into a hug to relax me, which instantly calms me down. Hand in hand we walk along the bottom of the lake to explore, there was a cave not too far from where we were and of course the two of us went in to see if there's anything good in there.
As we explore deeper in the cave i felt a need to go breathe, but the treecko insisted that we should keep going and hopefully find something good, so I ignore the building pressure in my lungs, pinching my nose shut to hopefully conserve my air
I could tell immediately that the treecko really wanted to push himself to find anything special, and to our surprise we did find something, cash inside of a waterproof bag! In fact, there were loads of them here! Who would have guessed someone would put this here? But regardless, as our faces turn fully red we gather up as many as we can before swimming back to the entrance of the cave, thankfully getting back without much trouble.
With the bags being so heavy and us carrying a ton of them, we couldnt really swim upwards, so as much as it would scare me more, we had to swimwalk back to shore in order to carry all the cash we got. I was getting worried we weren't going to make it as my face was turning blue, but the treecko refuses to give up and continues pushing forward despite him getting a slightly blue himself
As time goes on, we weren't even halfway to the surface, and I was really starting to get worried, suddenly I stopped moving, because for one reason or another my foot got stuck in a huge crack on the path to the surface, it was stuck really good too and I couldn't for the life of me get it out!
The treecko turned back and noticed that I wasnt coming with him, he saw me stuck and I gestured for him desperately to help me. The treecko was torn between the money we could get and helping his best friend. But helping someone is way more important then money, so he set it down and swam over to get my foot unstuck, my face was turning fully blue at this point and I covered my mouth and whine, shivering from the lack of air.
Thankfully, the treecko pulled my foot free from the crack, and managing to grab two bags of the cash we bolted up to the surface, really just needing to breathe now as I was desperate for it.
Unfortunately I inhaled a little water through my nose but managed to swallow it. Before long we came up to the surface and gasped heavily for air, coughing a little as well. As much as I wanted to go back for the cash my lungs were just too tired, and treecko's was too, so we settled on the 2 bags of cash we managed to get, and after counting it on the shore, we ended up getting a little over $1,700, which was a lot for us, so we split it as evenly as possible among the two of us. We hugged afterwards, I was glad the treecko choose to not abandoned me even with the possibility of being rich, our friendship matters way more, and thats the way we like it. So we head off together to spend the money we have but of course not spend all of it at once.

The Perfect Score

Emi was challenged by a Lucario to a video game challenge, but this was gonna be unlike any challenge Emi has ever done before, will he succeed?

Recently, Emi the Shiny Squirtle was challenged by a new friend of his, a Lucario, to a video game challenge, of course Emi can't back down from this since he loves video games, however this wasnt gonna be any ordinary challenge, no no no. The lucario said the challenge was simple, he was gonna get a TV set up at the bottom of his pool, and a game called Guitar Hero loaded up on a console, Emi's challenge was to 100% an expert song from that game without needing to stop and come up for air, he had to do this all in one breath. At first Emi didnt believe that the lucario could do such a thing, but the lucario insisted on it, on top of that... he'll be rewarded with a thousand dollars if he completes it, and that was all it took to change emi's mind and accept the challenge.
Later that day, Emi arrived at Lucario's house and was ready to get started on the challenge, a pair of goggles on his eyes as he was pretty nervous deep down tho. The lucario greets him as he approachs and already set up the TV with guitar hero in the console, and Emi had to remember not to surface until he's completed the challenge, the lucario also had a pair of goggles over his eyes as he was gonna be monitoring the whole thing. Soon after taking some deep breaths from both Emi and the lucario they dove down together at the same time, with emi pinching his nose shut as they swim to the bottom.
Lucario's set up included the TV, console and even a waterproof chair that looked pretty comfy. As Emi gets settled into the chair he picked up the Guitar that was custom for his size and then picked a song to play on expert, he eventually settled on one and hit start.
For the first few minutes, Emi was doing pretty bad, he doesn't normally play on expert when playing this game, he had to find a way to learn the song chart in the fastest time possible before he runs out of air.
He keeps struggling and struggling, his face turning fully red from his efforts as the Lucario's face was just now beginning to blush, watching intensely as he hopes deep down Emi completes his crazy task.
Emi tried the practice mode a few times so he can really learn the chart, his best score was only 85% tho, but he couldnt give up...no matter what, it was for the money
By now, the duo have been underwater for nearly 15 minutes, the lucario was still doing ok thankfully as he keeps watching the show, Emi however was super struggling now, it was getting harder and harder to concentrate because of the lack of air in his lungs, he was thinking about giving up and surfacing for air, but he knew he would failed the challenge and the lucario probably would laugh at him. So with newfound determination, Emi attempted the song one last time.
It seemed promising, Emi was able to nail every note and he was halfway done with the song, he was sweating a bit, but you couldnt tell that because they were underwater.
As the song continues, he glares at the TV screen as he focuses hard on finishing this, he was almost there and just when he though it he was gonna miss the last note, he didnt and he finally 100% the song! However his celebration was cut off by his need to breathe, so he quickly set everything down and bolted for the surface.
The lucario stood there in shock as he couldn't believe Emi actually did it, he was a bit embarrassed to tell Emi that he didnt actually have a thousand dollars as he was hoping Emi wouldn't be able to complete it, soon enough he surfaces as well as both of them gasp for air heavily.
When Lucario told Emi he didnt actually have the money, it really made Emi mad. All that for nothing? He was so mad he dunked Lucario underwater and held him there for a while, its what he deserved after all.
When the lucario was able to surface again, he frowns, but then he got an idea. He ran to grab his wallet and pulled out $300, it wasnt a thousand but that was all he had, and that was enough to satisfy Emi. He snatched it from Lucario and turned to walk away, at least he got something out of this and it wasnt for nothing, but he'll be getting the lucario back for this, one way or another.

Drowning for your entertainment

When Glacier finds himself on a rather odd game show thats hosted by a Charizard, he doesnt realize that he's about to be in rude awakening once he finds out what they have planned for him

We find ourselfs on a stage that has curtains over it so we don't see the large crowd yet, on said stage was a tank full of water, and an unfortunate contestant, a glaceon named Glacier, who was currently being tied up and being dangled above the water, Glacier had no clue what was going on and was getting scared, even more because of the tank of water thats just inches away from his paws.
Eventually the host of this weird show comes into the room, a Charizard, who smirks at he sees the glaceon all tied up and ready to start the show, whatever it was. Glacier was not ready for this thing at all, and was squirming around trying to free himself but to no avail, he was too stuck in place to get freed.
As the curtains open up, Glacier's mouth drops open in pure shock at what hes seeing, a crowd of anthro creatures all gazing at the stage in anticipation for what is about to unfold, soon the charizard steps up in front of the tank to explain to everyone what's about to go down.
"Hello Everyone! And welcome to this exciting new aquaphile show! Today we have our new contestant here, a glaceon, all ready to go it seems like!"
Glacier's eyes go wide as he's being introduced, still have no idea what's going on
"Your probably wondering what's happening hmm? Well ill explain for the viewers at home: You'll be dunked underwater for a targeted amount of time, and youll only be able to get pulled back up for air if someone in the crowd wants you too, and judging from all their faces, I doubt you'll get much air in this."
The charizard laughs at that, along with everyone else.
"Oh yeah I should mention, if someone is so kind enough to give you air, well the timer will stop until your ready to go again, so keep that in mind if you wanna survive this"
Glacier whines and cries as he can't believe this is all happening to him
"Your target time underwater for today's show is..."
A sudden drumroll noise is heard
"6 hours!"
Glacier is shocked about how much time he has to stay underwater, he definitely can't hold his breath that long, but he has to try.
"Good luck little glaceon, I suggest taking as many breaths as possible"
Glacier whines but eventually does what he was told and takes some deep breaths, eventually he holds one last breath in before the chains around Glacier drag him underwater
"Alright, start the timer! Remember folks, if you want the glaceon to breathe, simply press the button thats in front of you and we'll get a signal to bring him up"
As the timer starts, Glacier tries to focus on relaxing as much as he can, but with the amount of anxiety thats in him right now, things arent looking so good as constant air bubbles escape him, only 10 minutes passes by as he was fully red already
"It seems our icy friend to off to a bad start, but dont worry, maybe you'll get to breathe soon, or maybe not at all, heh heh, oops I should probably mention, even if the glaceon does drown, our first aid team will immediately spring into action to save him, but he won't be done, he'll have to keep going until the 6 hours are all finished"
That made Glacier whine even more then before, knowing even when he drowns he'll still have to keep going! What kind of sick person would make him do this!?
As we approach the hour mark, thankfully somebody was kind enough to let the glaceon breathe, but was immediately sent back down after he caught his breath, his lungs were already tired as it was, he still had ways to go...
Nothing eventful happened during the next two hours, I guess a few people let the glaceon breathe in between those hours, but Glacier's lungs were getting more and more tired, to the point where he could only go a few minutes before needing to breathe again.
"Halfway there! I guess nobody was crazy enough to let you fully drown yet!"
As he said that, another hour passes and Glacier actually ended up drowning! So when he was revived he was chained back up and sent back underwater, just like the host said.
Glacier was sooo tired at this point, he really just wanted to escape this nightmare, he ended up drowning multiple times in the next hour, now 5 in total, he was getting sick of it!
But just before he could go insane, someone else enter the audience, an anthro Orca, who notices Glacier in the tank, and he knew this show was just trying to get people's attention, while also torturing others who don't like this stuff and he hated it! So he sits down and presses the button to let Glacier breathe, but this time he repeatingly presses it so he doesnt go back down, a few of the Orca's friends pitched in to help and snuck around to the back of the stage to help free Glacier.
Charizard the host meanwhile was confused as to why he hasn't gone back under yet, he only set the buttons to keep him above water for 5 minutes after all.
"Sorry folks, it seems like our tank is stuck, must be a maintenence issue..."
Glacier was just relieved he didnt have to go back underwater anymore then he wants to right now, his lungs have never been this tired before.
As the Orca and his friends came around, they sneak on stage and then whack the glass tank with a crossbow to shatter it, water spilling everywhere as the host was shocked at all this. Glacier was quickly found free from his bindings finally and being led away by the Orca and his friends, Glacier immediately hugs him as a way of saying thank you for ending the torture as he ran out of the building shouting "FREEDOM!!!!" He was gonna take a long nap after that...
Meanwhile...
"Well um, that was unexpected, guess we'll have to cut the show here...heh heh..."
Most of the audience groaned in disappointment at that, but the charizard was gonna make sure in the near future that something like this doesnt happen again, and he was gonna give everyone the show they want to see next time!
