The night of Recovery pt 1, Eggman couldn't decide how to move forward with this sudden event. He had no intentions on keeping this person. He had no time to raise a child. Taking Blue from that nightmare wasn't even a thought. He just did it because it wasn't safe to leave him there. He also wasn't planning on keeping him. But look at him. Look at that broken soul and tell me you would love to see him happy.

Note: With how Blue looked, malnourished and small, Eggman assumed he was a lot younger. He thought Blue was like 10. Which made him more mad at Keyling than ever.

I said before some times I'd like to fill in some parts in Recovery. This one being Eggmans thoughts on what to do now that he got our poor baby out of that place. He ended up trying to care for Blue and it all worked out in the end! Imagine what could've happened if Blue went somewhere else. Everything could've been so different.
