Before Sonic. before Shadow and Mephiles. Before everything, there were them.. A curious Unicorn who met a shy Dragon. They meet unexpectedly. The two kingdoms hated each other, but these two became obsessed with the other. Meeting by the old pond to tell tales and fall in love. The horses knew of their company and trusted the flightless dragon. They knew Aurthor loved him. But rules were rules. The Elders told him, "For now follow the laws. But when you are king. You may follow your heart. Excited, they waited. Years go by, and the Unicorn prince is stronger. Too strong to manage. He's too violent. Scary. So he made a tough decision. Giving up all his magic for a life of peace. He met a lovely lady who too enjoyed his interests. They became friends. Doom loved her company. But because of separate rules the two princes married others. Aurthor married Tihana mostly because he couldn't produce a child. Plus they loved each other. Doom was forced to marry the devil herself. A woman who always took advantage. He hated her. He wanted her gone but without an heir he was forced to be around her. For years Aurshi would destroy any eggs she had. Making sure to stay in power. Eventually, Doom caught on and took the last egg she had and ran. Finding sancuary witht he horses. He was welcomed with open arms and saden to see his lover age. Author reassured him he wasn't that old. Without his magic he ages a bit faster than normal. But he's still as spry as a filly. Chaos they missed having eachother. It was peaceful. Soon that last egg managed to hatch. And to everyones surprise there were twins! They looked so much like their parents. Too much.. Doom did not like the red dragon. Wanted it dead. But Aurthor promised he wouldn't be a problem. They were named Mephiles and Shadow. Little gremilns they were. Always attacking people and fighting. It got to the point Tihana made special inhibiter cuffs to calm them down. Six years pass and Doom has forgotten his duties for the Dragons. Finding Arushi had tracked him down. She was surprised to find the kids. Admiring the red dragons resemling herself. She wanted them dead. She wanted to take their souls. Aurthor kicked her out and threathen death if she returned. Which she didn't take so well and in return killed his friends. Targeting the unicorns of the village. All died but the king. Who distracted the serpent long enough for everyone to leave. Tihana didn't want to leave her friend but had no choice. Those two were never found. Everyone assumed they killed each other. Doom regretted letting that women live for so long. He lost just as much. All he had left were the kids his lover named and his dearest friend. They both promised to protect everyone and start a new life. Tihana didn't get to surprise Aurthor that they were having a child. Doom suggested a bond. And she agreed. To combine both kingdoms to further strengthen every soul. To have the unborn child wed the strongest twin. Mephiles. So they can finally end the war between unicorns and dragons...
I really wanted to get the parents' background at some point so I took a small break to do that. Even tho this took just as long. My storytelling isn't perfect, and I'm fine with that. Ignore any misspellings, my computer had a seizure.
