Kangaskhan had always loved to unwind while enjoying some tasty berries whenever the explorers and rescuers went on their little adventures. The calm atmosphere around her store allowed her to enjoy the moment and forget, even if temporarily, that she had a business to run. Nevertheless, it seems that in this occasion Kangaskhan was so lost in the bliss of eating her favorite berries that she failed to notice that the town was oddly quiet, even more so than whenever the guild organized an expedition. It certainly wasn't enough to catch her attention. With the guildmembers dispersed doing their jobs, her inventory sorted and her son practicing his mega evolution, she had no reason to worry about anything else but her snack!
However, Kangaskhan had failed to notice that the guildmembers didn't leave the town at all...
Moments before, when her son activated the mega stone to resume his daily training, it reacted in a strange manner. Instead of just giving the young kangaskhan a burst of power, it dispersed that energy over the whole town. As a consequence of that, a great number of pokémon were randomly shrunken to a ridiculously tiny size! To make matters even worse, that same mysterious energy had warped the newly shrunken pokémon to random places around town.
The young kangaskhan was luckier than most given the fact that he was teleported to the counter of her mother's business. As such, he made the quick decision to climb her in order to get her attention and assistance. Others didn't share the same fortune, as a number of villagers and guildmembers found themselves stranded on top of an oran berry, the same oran berry Kangaskhan intended to consume as a snack!
Hopefully the young kangaskhan can get her mother to notice him before she inadvertently "deposits" a good chunk of the village's population at her "storage system", along with a few berries...
