Side facts:
These two chars are early versions of Alica and Cleo. Alica had her final debut in 2005 and Cleo in 2009.
Technically speaking, the items around the pool are things that were current at the time. Cell phone, Discman, and Game Boy Advance. The book on the beach towel was a Japanese movie called Monday, which I was watching at the time.
