I love slice-of-life ideas and moments. When concerning having a tailmaw, figuring out ways that sort of appendage being useful in everyday life is a joy to realize in visual form. I figured Taylor would use the hyper-tuned senses of Ahya, with her primary sense being touch, to do a better job at trimming her claws than she ever could with her own teeth. It's also a way of showcasing that perhaps Taylor has a bad habit of nail-biting and allows Ahya to take care of it. Or is it Ahya having that bad habit and Taylor indulges her because it helps keep her claws groomed? Whatever the case is, she's a responsible wolf who covers up her work area with a towel so claw-clippings don't get everywhere in the bed. It's best done after a nice-long shower where she can air dry in the comfort and privacy of her bedroom.
