L: Out on a frozen ocean, a red dragon walks across the ice, resting his wings after a long flight while still progressing toward his destination. While he's being a little careless about it, he trusts that the ice will be able to support him.
H: Meanwhile, a brown werewolf in swimming trunks and a cape explores around the area near where the dragon is right now, appearing to be lost while holding out a map in front of him. He also has a sun pendant necklace. " Um, I think I don't know where I am right now. Hopefully this fur coat is large and warm enough..."
L: The dragon notices that werewolf, and seeing how lost they look, figures he could probably help them find their way... But as he starts going over to them, the ice abruptly gives out from under him, and he splashes into the icy water with a yelp!
H: (something something brother bear 2 reference, cue dramatic music) "Wow oh gosh! Hang on, I'm coming!" The werewolf touches his pendant necklace as it shifts into a moon, transforming into an aquatic variant of himself complete with fins, gills, webbing and flipper feet. He rushes forward for a dive but instantlyu trips on his flattened flippers with a loud cartoon THUD and slides all over the ice till splashing into the water.
"Ouch..." He said in muffling bubbles.
L: Under the water, the dragon is frantically struggling to swim up as he whines, but judging by his motions it seems like he might not know how to swim, as he gradually sinks deeper in.
H: Kicking all of his fins and flippers combined, Cody swimmingly rushes towards the dragon and blows an air bubble on his muzzle. "Phew, got you now. I'll take you to the surface in no time. It's kinda cold here though." He then adjusts his body temperature using his head fins. "Much better."
L: The dragon's panic lessens as he pants from the bubble Cody had given him. "Th-thanks... P-please hurry, it's s-so cold..."
H: "On it." Cody tries taking the dragon back to the surface, he's kinda heavy though as the werewolf lets out air bubbles. Cody's fur is warm enough to the dragon.
L: The dragon flaps his wings in an attempt to speed up the ascent, though it hardly helps, and he soon just wraps them around Cody to try to keep warm.
H: They eventually reach the top... but they discover that it has been blocked quickly by the ice seamlessly. "What the- How is that possible? It's not winter right now from where I am, is it?"
L: "I-I guess it froze back over somehow... We're stuck here until we can figure out some other way up!" The dragon bangs against the ice a couple times, to no avail.
H: Cody also tries pushing against the ice before giving up. "Yeah, it seems. Do you have fire breath?"
L: "I do, but I'm not sure it'll work because of the water... I better at least try." The dragon takes a deep breath, before attempting to breathe fire... Only succeeding in making smoke-filled bubbles that are rapidly cooled off by the water, not affecting the ice at all. "Yeah, I kind of figured..."
H: "So umm what do we do now?"
L: "Maybe we can find some other way out... I hope, anyway, we can't just stay down here, the cold's gonna be too much for us eventually..."
H: Eventually they notice a silhoutte of someone above the ice. A penguin that is casually strolling by, oblivious to the situation below for now. "I think I see someone coming, maybe we can ask them for help!"
L: "Oh!" The dragon starts banging on the ice again, this time to get the penguin's attention. "Hey, help us! We're stuck down here!"
H: Penguin: "Huh? Who's there?" The penguin then looks down and see the two of them under the ice, Cody waves awkwardly with his webbed paw. "Whoah! how did you two get down here!?"
L: "I fell through the ice, and this wolf guy came in to get me out, but the surface froze again and now we're both trapped! Even my fire breath isn't working!"
H: Cody: "Yeah..."
Penguin: "Oh dear. Luckily in our town we have an ice department, sort of like the fire department but they rescue people from anything ice-related!"
Cody: "Really?" The fishwolf is surprised and relieved.
L: "That'd be perfect! Would you be able to lead us near your town so they can get us out?"
H: Penguin: "Of course! It's on safe ground though but there should be a frozen pond in the park connected to a cave system. Follow me!" The penguin then waddles on the way to the town.
Cody: "Thank you, blub!"
L: "We just have to hope we can handle the cold long enough... Let's get going!" The dragon awkwardly paddles at the water, trying to help swim and follow the penguin.
H: Cody follows next to the dragon, wrapping his fish-like fluffy tail around his neck gently like a warm scarf and kicking his flippered webbed paw feet altogether to swim far like a mermaid. "So umm I have a wetsuit in my bag incase I have to swim in cold waters such as these. Want to try it? It's really warm and very stretchy enough to fit." He pulls out said wetsuit, it is rubbery black with purple streaks and the brand logo of a crescent moon with fish scales and fins.
L: "That might help, if it does fit. Alright, let's try that... Hopefully it won't be too hard to get it on me."
H: Cody gives the dragon his wetsuit and unwraps his finned tail.
L: The dragon does his best to get the wetsuit on. It takes a bit, but he manages it, and he looks himself over as he smiles. "This is great, I don't feel anywhere near as cold now! Although it's kind of weird to be wearing something."
H: Cody's wetsuit/springsuit has hole where his armpit webbings and shark fin should be, the dragon stretched the latter to fit his wings without breaking. "I guess it's your first time wearing clothes, blub."
L: "Yeah, I don't typically like doing that, but I really don't have a choice here. Anyway, I should be fine for plenty of time now, so let's keep moving."
H: "Yeah. Oh! And what's your name also?"
L: "Oh, right, I'm Raxtus. How about you?"
H: "Cody. Cody Wolfman, nice to meet you." He said with a bubbly puffy smile.
Penguin: "And I'm Hugo..." He then stares at you. Yes... you. "For context to the readers at home, I used be my maker's Club Penguin main avatar, but due to him now getting hooked on Roblox couple with the Club Penguin Shutdown of 2017 I now have to move to a new community complete with a new makeover because I lost my job as a ghost hunter. Oh and did you know Hugo was the original name for Pingu? Now you know... Noot."
Cody: "Ummm wha?????????"
L: Raxtus looks where Hugo is looking, not seeing anything, and whispers to Cody "Who's this guy talking to? Should we really be following him?"
H: Cody: "Not sure, probably just a one-bit."
Hugo: "So how did you guys get in such a pickle?"
L: "I was trying to cross this ocean, and had to land for a bit to rest my wings while I walked to keep going. Cody here looked like he was lost, but I'm not sure."
H: Cody: "For me, I was looking for an ancient lost city named X or something like that. They said it has hidden treasure there so I asked a local who knows its existence for a treasure map and curiously went there but my sense of direction is kinda lame so somehow I am now here, and that's when I spotted Raxtus too."
L: "I think I've actually heard of that place... I don't know any more than you do, though."
H: Cody: "It's fine, don't worry. Though if you like after this, we can explore together, heh."
Hugo: "Y'know, I kinda miss goofing around in the minecart minigame."
L: Still having no clue what Hugo is talking about, Raxtus responds to Cody. "Sure, I'd be up for that!"
H: They eventually reach the town in question. It consists of many igloos as house and establishments. For the aquatic wolf and dragon however, they reach a dead end; a block of icy land... Or so they thought.
Cody: "Is this the town?"
Hugo: "Yep, this is it. The cave entrance is down below though I heard."
L: "Alright, guess we've gotta head down for that. At least we don't have to worry about air, right?"
H: Cody: "Don't worry, I'll blow spare ones if the current bubble pops."
Hugo: "Alright, I'll start calling the ice department right now. See you two on the other side!" Hugo then waddles runs into the town.
L: "Let's head for that cave, I don't want to be stuck down here any longer than I have to be. Never been a fan of water..."
H: Cody: "I think we need to sink for this one. I haven't brought any weight belts with me though."
L: "Maybe you could just hold onto me while I sink? You saw earlier, I sink in water if I don't do anything about it."
H: Cody: "Sure, that'll work!" Cody hugs the wetsuited Raxtus as they prepare for the descent.
L: Raxtus stops trying to keep himself up, and with Cody no longer helping in that, the two begin to sink deeper. Raxtus gradually gets a bit nervous at the depth, but he tries to stay calm, trusting that Cody will help if something goes wrong.
H: Cody's long hair mane drifts upwards like grass underwater as he lets out more bubbles from his closed mouth, his flat paw flippers also drifting upwards pass his knees. The hug feels warm thanks to Raxtus' firey lungs coupled with his wetsuit. He pets the dragon curiously.
L: For a moment, Raxtus clearly doesn't know how to feel about the petting... But after a few seconds, he does start to enjoy it. "Mm, this is nice... Never had anyone pet me before..."
H: Cody: "I think you're a pretty dragon."
L: "Well, thanks. A lot of people just end up intimidated by me, even when I'm trying to make it clear to them that I don't want to hurt them..."
H: "I'm not afraid of dragons, don't worry. I see you as people like us too, hehe." He then boops Raxtus' air-bubbled muzzle with his webbed paw carefully.
L: Raxtus smiles. "That's really nice to hear! Hopefully other people will eventually start feeling the same as you."
H: Cody: "Hehe."
Eventually they reach the sandy bottom where the cave entrance is in front of the two. Cody lets go of Raxtus and stands on the ground looking around. Raxtus is also standing on the sandy floor with his two legs at first. Fish passing by the two.
Cody: "Alright, here we are."
L: For the moment, Raxtus stays standing on his back legs. "It's kind of surreal to be standing on just two legs... I'm too heavy for that on land, I can't keep my balance. But, here, it's pretty easy..."
H: Cody: "Yep, that's the magic of being underwater, hehe. It's like moonwalking, try it."
Cody wags his fish tail, heart-shaped bubbles escaping through his muzzle.
L: Raxtus awkwardly takes a few steps around on the sand, walking on only his back legs. He almost falls once, but he's slowly getting the hang of it. "This is neat! Think I'm gonna keep practicing as we go through that cave."
H: Cody: "Nice, keep going!"
Cody bubblingly cheered. A school of fish then swims around Raxtus curiously.
L: Gradually, Raxtus is able to put more focus on things other than not falling over, and he smiles as he starts to watch the fish around him.
H: Cody: "Seems like the fish really like you, hehe! Anyway, let's go find a way to the pond."
Cody then swims into the icy cave.
L: "Okay, right behind you." Raxtus follows Cody, still walking on his back legs.
H: The cave appears like a mirror maze made out of ice, with various tunnels stretching across miles with dead ends and crossroads from every direction. "Oh, shucks..."
L: Raxtus looks around at all the ice. "Ugh, that Hugo guy could've warned us about this... Does any part of it look any different?"
H: Cody: "No... But it seems we now need to feel the walls to not accidentally bump into them. We need to reach the top and hopefully there isn't any creature roaming around here."
L: "Give me a second." Raxtus bangs on one of the walls, but that doesn't damage it at all. "Okay, yeah, we don't really have a choice. We just have to hope this doesn't take too long."
H: Cody: "Yeah..."
The two then wandered around the maze looking for the way up top to the pond while also careful not to bump into any perfect reflection created by the ice.
L: Raxtus slowly gets frustrated as the search continues. "Ugh, this is getting annoying..."
H: There are also various types of fish swimming around the tunnels.
Cody: "When are we going to go u-"
They then see something in the reflection, an all-too-familiar shape. A hungry shark with kick bruise marks and metallic teeth.
Cody: "Oh uh, RUN!..."
L: "O-oh jeez!" Raxtus drops back to all fours as he does his best to run, though it's a bit slow because of the water.
H: Cody: "Take my paw!"
Cody takes Raxtus' draconic paw as they both run and attempt to hide from the shark, swishing both his flippers and fish tail as fast as he can.
L: Raxtus gets ready to potentially fight the shark if he has to, but he knows it probably wouldn't go well... He does his best to speed up.
H: The shark charges itself towards Raxtus for a bity strike!
Cody: "Raxtus, watch out!"
L: "AH!" Raxtus just barely manages to get out of the way of the bite, and goes in for a bite of his own.
H: The shark accidentally bumps into a icy reflection and looks at it. The shark at first thought it was a different shark but is too distracted by the reflection that it didn't see the dragon coming.
L: Raxtus chomps down on the side of the shark, and while he pops the bubble on his muzzle in the process, he doesn't care, and growls out little bubbles.
H: Shark: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA F[%$👄!#]! FOR THE THIRD TIME ALREADY!?" It got chomped on the tailfin, the shark aggressively turns around.
Cody: "Um wha-?"
Shark: "YOU KNOW WHAT!? F[%$👄!#] THIS! I HAD ENOUGH WITH YOU AND YOUR SCALY KIND! EVERY! SINGLE! F[%$👄!#] TIME! I GIVE UP, F[%$👄!#] YOU FURBALL AND F[%$👄!#] YOU TOO, BE F[%$👄!#] GLAD YOU LIZARDF[%$👄!#]S ARE NO NO LONGER PART OF MY DIET FROM NOW ON! GOOD DAY SIR! I NEED TO SEE THE DOCTOR ONCE AGAIN NOW!-" The shark then accidentally bumps into a mirror while ragequitting, breaking his metallic teeth in the process and leaves "DARYA F[%$👄!#] DAMN IT!!!".
Cody: "Wow... That was rude. Also who's that top hatted teeth guy in the censorbar?"

L: Raxtus is in stunned silence for a moment. "...Ceblrtablinlbly dibldn't exblpecblt thblat. Oblh, cabln yoblu giblve mble anblothbler bublble?"
H: Cody: "Order up!"
Cody blows another air bubble respirator around Raxtus' muzzle.
L: Raxtus quickly takes a breath now that he's able to again. "Alright, I'm good. Now, let's keep trying to find a way out of here..."
H: The two look around before spotting a large and long tunnel on the ceiling with light shining through the ice. From the looks of it, this must be the way to the pond!
Cody: "Up there!" Cody pointed with his clawed webbed paw hand.
L: "Oh, finally! Come on, help me get up there!" Raxtus flaps his wings in an attempt to "fly", but he barely gets anywhere.
H: Cody: "I'll try!"
Cody tries to lift Raxtus up with his fins and flippers combined.
L: It's slow going, but the two are gradually ascending toward the surface.
"After this, I really need to learn to swim..."
H: There are various types of fish in this long tunnel to the frozen pond aswell, including some unfamiliar and strange weird ones.
Cody: "I can teach you if you like, hehe." Despite the giggle, Cody noticeably looks tired and drained of energy. There has to be a way to get up faster, he thought.
Suddenly and out of nowhere, Raxtus feels both of his feet getting bitten by two of the fishes.
L: "Hm?" Raxtus looks down at the fish biting him, thankfully not feeling all that much pain from it, and he tries to shake them off. "Dumb fish, leave me alone..."
H: Raxtus then notices that this strange type of big fish have long horizontal paddle-like fins as their tail and are swallowing his entire back feet whole, camouflaging themselves in his red scales until they look like his feet have sprouted into long bendable flippers like Cody's. It seems these fish are actually trying to help but why?
Cody: "What the axolotls?"
L: "W-wait, what!? They're like flippers!" Raxtus experimentally kicks his back legs, this time not to get the fish off of him, as he watches his new flippers.
H: As expected, Raxtus' new fish-flippered feet bend, twist, curl and move independently and fluidly like a thin sheet of stretchy rubber. He also moves a little more faster than before.
Cody: "Wow, that looks awesome. I didn't know these helpful types of fish exist! I bet they must be a rare species!" Cody is amazed as he lets a bunch of bubbles escape from his mouth while swimming around Raxtus curiously.
L: "Yeah, I've never heard of anything like this! Actually, hang on..." Raxtus watches how Cody swims with their flippers, and tries to copy that... Sure enough, he starts going a fair bit faster! "I-I think I can actually swim with these!"
H: Cody: "Nice! I bet we can reach futher up into the pond faster now, let's do this!" Cody cheered.
Together, they both swim upwards to the frozen pond in dolphin motion synchronization, kicking their flippers and fins as fast as they can while more fish accompany the two.
L: Raxtus soon starts paddling with his front legs as well, and while it doesn't help as much, it still speeds him up a little.
H: Eventually, the two managed to make it to the top of the frozen pond from a hole as they sit exhausted on the sandy floor to regain energy. They hear the voice of Hugo.
Hugo: "Just in time, you two! I've managed to bring the whole ice department squad here!"
He said while looking at the two from above the ice, now with a whole team of penguins in blue helmets, uniforms and pickaxes accompanying him.
L: Raxtus smiles up at them. "Finally, we're gonna get out! Although, I guess this means these fish on my feet are going to have to leave..."
H: And indeed, the fish stopped swallowing Raxtus' backfeet whole and swim back into the hole they came from, having finally served their purpose and fed off enough dead scale cells for a lifetime.
Cody: "Well, that worked itself out."
The ice department are now hard at work at chiseling away the ice.
L: "That's interesting, it's like they understood me... Well, whatever the case, I think I do still prefer being above water, so I'm glad we're almost out of here."
H: The ice department finally opens the frozen pond, it is now finally time for the two to get out of the water.
Cody: "Thank you so much!"
Cody stepped out first, then Raxtus as his air bubble pops.
Hugo: "You're welcomeAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!"
Hugo cartoonishly runs away from the sight of Raxtus. Every penguin is now in shock of seeing the dragon for the first time. One penguin, however, blushes and starts beakbleeding (nosebleeding) upon the sight of Raxtus' draconite build and sleek soaked wetsuit. "Oh no he's 'hot'." The random penguin said as he faints.
L: Raxtus sighs at all the panic. "Yep, everything's back to normal... Well, at least we're out. I should probably give you back your suit now, huh?"
H: Cody: "Yep. Also, calm down everyone, he won't hurt you all."
Penguins: "Fine, we'll drop the torches..."
L: "Yeah, I'm not like other dragons, I don't like fighting people." Raxtus takes off the wetsuit he'd borrowed from Cody and gives it back to them.
H: Cody: "Thank you."
Cody dries his fur first then his wetsuit.
Penguins: "Guess we will spare you then, but we're still keeping an eye on you."
Hugo: "Jeez, I've never expected one of you to be a dragon. You know how foggy things look underwater from above the ice."
L: "Yeah, I should've actually thought of that and warned you... Well, at least you guys didn't run me out of town."
H: A random penguin: "Umm would you two like some coffee after this?"
Cody: "Oh, sure!"
Cody stores his wetsuit into the leather bag and turns back into a normal wolf with the crescent moon pendant changing into a sun, much to the surprise of Raxtus.
L: "Woah! Hold on, how did you just do that?" Raxtus looks over Cody's normal form, unaware that the wolf's aquatic form isn't how they normally are.
H: Cody: "Oh, I use my necklace to switch between forms, heh!" He wags his tail.
L: "That's really cool! Hope I can get something like that myself sometime!"
H: Cody: "Well, there's an underwater plant in the Mediterraneon Sea known as a Gillyweed, it's like my necklace but temporary when consumed."
L: "Then I'll have to make my way over there sometime and try it out. Lucky I can fly, it shouldn't be too long of a trip."
H: Cody: "I'll show you where they're at sometime, heh."
Penguin cafe owner: "So umm I take it as a no?"
L: "Oh, sorry. You said coffee, right? I could go for some of that."
H: Penguin cafe owner: "Alrighty then, let's go to my shop!"
At the coffee shop...
Cody: "This coffee tastes great!"
L: "This is certainly a different kind from what I'm familiar with, but yeah, it's pretty good!"
H: Cafe penguin owner: "You're wel-"
Hugo: "Oh wait, guys, I've actually forgot to tell you something about that lost city of X you two mentioned!"
Cody: "What is it?"
L: "Ah, right! What have you got?"
H: Hugo: "Well, the lost city of X is actually... here."
Cody: "WAIT WHAT!?"
Hugo: "Yep, but not in the way outsiders think. There's no treasure here. I know the old critter who gave you that map, he was an adventurer and came here while exploring. But he misrembered the location though while drawing the map, I even saw it myself. So technically the lost city doesn't exist. Sorry to burst your bubble."
Cody: "Oh..."
L: "Aw, I was really looking forward to getting a ton of treasure... Well, at least we didn't go looking for it too hard."
H: Hugo: "Well if you like, you can get something in the gift shop at the end of town like that one wetsuit you were borrowing for a while, Raxtus."
L: "I suppose I could at least get something, yeah. Alright, thanks for letting us know."
H: Cody: "Well, let's head there then!"
Hugo: "Alright, bye you two!"
Both Raxtus & Cody then head towards the gift shop which has souvenirs and clothes like wetsuits too.
L: "Think I'll be getting myself a suit of my own, I liked wearing yours... Wonder if any of this is gonna fit me."
H: Cody: "Alright, sounds great!" He then watches Raxtus take his pick.
L: Raxtus looks through the wetsuits on offer - surprised to find a few that'd fit him - and picks out a green one that's about the same size as the one he'd borrow from Cody. "Alright, this is the one."
H: The wetsuit itself has two holes on the back that are perfectly fit for Raxtus' red wings. "I think this one 'suits' you perfectly, hehe!" Cody giggled and gives the thumbs up.
Cut to the two leaving the town referred to as "X" by outsiders and across the frozen ocean carefully. Raxtus carries a tote bag containing the purchased wetsuit inside with his mouth. It's currently the afternoon.
"Well, at the end we didn't find any treasure but at least the journey gave me the chance to rescue you, heh."
L: Raxtus nods, talking carefully as to not drop the bag. "And I kinda learned a bit about swimming, too!"
H: "Hehe!"
Cody notices something from afar and notices that it's actually... the hole in the ice the two fell into all this time, unchanged.
"Wha- That's the hole we fell into all this time and it isn't even repaired...?"
Cody facepawed himself upon the realization.
"Man, I'm such an idiot for not inspecting more..."
L: "...So... We went through all that for no reason." Raxtus growls in anger, a bit of smoke leaving his nostrils.
H: "I'm sorry..." Cody's ears drooped down in shame.
L: Raxtus sighs. "It's alright, I didn't notice it either."
H: Cody looks at the sky.
"It's getting late now but I've walked so far to here I won't be able to reach home in time. Can I take a quick ride, Raxtus? I'll show you where my house is."
L: "Well, my wings are ready to go again, so sure. Just keep in mind, I've never carried someone before." Raxtus crouches down a bit so Cody can easily get on him.
H: "Thank you!"
Cody hops on Raxtus' back.
L: "Make sure you've got a good hold on me!" With that, Raxtus spreads his wings and jumps into the air, starting to fly upward.
H: Cody looks down as the two soar through the sky. "Hey, the view looks really wonderful from up here!"
L: "I'm kind of just used to it now, it's not that interesting to me any more. Anyway, which way is your house?"
H: Cody points to where his house is. "That way! There's another town in that direction where I live!"
And so Cody & Raxtus arrived at the former's house and waved goodbye to each other for the night.
Skip to several days later, Cody now documents the rare flipper-fish species that helped Raxtus on that particular day since then, looking forward to reseach more about it and is also surprised when he realizes there's lots of aquatic transformation stuff in this world for some in-universe reason.
Meanwhile, Raxtus gets to try out his new wetsuit and also started practicing swimming in water in order to get better at it and partially to avoid another similar incident. He only does it on safer resurfacing ground though, at least for now. Cody has also become his trainer too.
Also meanwhile, the X town has now become a popular tourist spot due to the rumors thanks to some random treasure treker that isn't Cody who visited not long after that day, much to the aggravated and annoyed citizens that now have to deal with them constantly. New merch showed up at the gift store also.
Hugo: "Well, guess this is now Club Penguin Rewritten #35 then."
Hugo then looks at you... again. Apparently, you notice by his outfit that he may have now gone back to ghost hunting for a living.
Hugo: "Also what you're looking at? I told you I stop being a ghost hunter! I'm just wearing this outfit for nostalgic reasons and it's not like I'm gonna hunt the rumored Watery Lynx Reape- I mean you didn't hear anything, NOW SCRAM!"
