Arty and Mathias stand in it quietly, not needing to say anything. The sun’s almost gone, but there’s still enough glow to catch their eyes. A pause, a look, and the feeling that everything is exactly where it’s meant to be.
The pieces I do are meant to be loved, not just approved, or feeling like a drawing factory to say "this is done, what's next", I think each piece needs to say something to someone, and I'm so glad this one achieved that for Arty and Mathias. I usually don't say this on my captions but I'm so proud of this one.
