Grey and Gabriel had killed Virgil and selected a timeline to live the rest of their lives together. They chose the 2020's because reasons. They were sitting on the couch, leaning unto each other, cuddling.
"Hey, they say there's something called 'Shark Week' on Discovery" Gabe said.
"I guess" said Grey, he didn't know what Discovery Channel was.
They turned on the tv:
"Has Megalodon survived ALL ALONG!? Top ten shark attacks! Only on Discovery Channel."
Gabe shut down the tv.
"What kind of crap is that!? 'Has Megalodon survived'? This is anti-shark bullshit."
"Very sensionalistic" Grey nodded, trying to not step on eggshells.
"This is why people don't trust science channels anymore."
Gabe sighed.
"I just hope this hasn't ignited some racist bullshit against sharks."
Grey turned around to look at the window. A car with mutilated shark cartoons etched into it passed by. His gaze return to the couch, disturbed. But it was time to take initiave, so he kissed Gabe on the cheek.
"Don't worry about that. It's their loss, I heard all good documentaries are on Nebula, whatever that it."
Gabe smiled, and kissing Grey on the lips.
"Thanks babe. For being there for me."
"No problemo."
Gabe giggled.
"Yeah, 'no problemo'."
"So what if I don't grasp spanish well. It makes you laugh."
"And for that I'm grateful."
The two resumed cuddling in the couch, changing channels.
