It's come a long way from the original conceptual and kinda dorky 3d model I made on a whim. I grounded it more in its source biological inspiration and gave him some better anatomy.
I may still use the previous designs somewhere, except polished up more, as variant enemies or life stages but that wholly depends on which project it gets shuttled into.
