It is a nice cartoon with a very appealing character design, but I can't help myself to associate it with spongebob square pants...

think about it:

A sensitive guy with big front teeth,with a shitty job he loves and takes very seriously,with an abusive boss and hyper behavior ho has a fat friend ho is dumb and oftenly does gross things...

Probably the oldest situational comedy formula in broadcasting, FWIW... This can be traced back to, in television, The Honeymooners (including two cartoon satires of it, The Flintstones and The Jetsons), which can further be traced back to radio comedy shows like The Great Gildersleeve, Fibber McGee & Molly, all the way to the comic sketches of Jack Benny in the 1930s... :P

(Should I be embarassed that the creator of Spongebob comes from where I live? :P )
