Ordinarily, a couple of poor farm girls would never have set foot in such an opulent palace as the McAllister home. Located in the heart of the county's most prestigious, and snobby, gated communities, it should have been forever off-limits to the two of them. However, Megan's mom knew Mr. McAllister from work and when the latter decided he and his family would spend the summer touring the Carribean, they struck a deal. The girls would look after the McAllister house and grounds, mowing the lawn, washing windows, and so forth, in exchange for being allowed to use the swimmingn pool. And so began one of the most memorable summers of their childhood. Maintaining the house was hard work. Mrs. McAllister left an exhaustive list of things for them to do each time they visited and just getting past the gates was a challenge in and of itself. But the house was a marvel, with every modern convenience 1990 had to offer, and the pool made every hour spend scrubbing or weeding entirely worth it.

As I said over on Mamabun's post, you two had an awesome opportunity from a good neighbor, and even though it was hard work, it made for magical memories. But as a side thought... I hope those swimsuits are still viable for the bunnyfox generation. :3

And yes! Opportunities like this are rare and to be grasped with both hands and thoroughly enjoyed. And what better way to do it than with a best friend? As for the swimwear, I'm sure our girls would look great in them, too!
Glad you think so! Grace hasn't really changed much at all since I created her, so I'm kinda thinking of a few little additions or alterations here and there to help give her a bit more character. Nothing major, never fear. But a change in hair color would be fun. (And, of course, she could always be drawn with her natural golden blonde any time anyone was feeling nostalgic, too.)

I adore this pic! I've been staring at it almost non-stop since we got it. And yes! I loved the pic he did of Megan and Sarana and was really happy when she suggested we commission him for this. She's the one who dealt directly with him, so she can probably tell you better than me. But it was a great experience from start to finish and we'll definitely be going back.
We're already pondering a little bit of a follow-up...
