There's just something about pure black characters with just a smidge of a different color that hits different, y'know? And when I learned about Thorny Devil Lizards (AKA Molochs) and their ability to collect water with their scales, I had to do something with it.
Flail is a moloch from Tralius who got big thanks to his ability to find rare organic gemstones like ammonite and amber. But with his fame, he's decided he likes the parties only to grope and play with other guys, collecting their 'essence' puddled on the floor with his soles. He's a wild card of mischief rather than a gloater or money hoarder, often leaving generous tips to those who entertain him most.
