Another Smith adventure in Australia found Kyle joining Lucky at his Joey Scouts troop. Kyle in his USA Cub Scouts uniform and Lucky in his Aussie Joey Scouts uniform decided to work together to try and earn some badges. They worked through a few nature badges and accomplishments, but found that they were lacking in the Family Life Section. After consulting their Scout guides, they found that they needed to complete two more chores to complete the badge requirements.
The boys ran to Kyle's mother and father to see what they could do to earn the badge. The Smith parents thought about it and Mike chimed in and said that the yard needed to be raked. Kyle and Lucky saluted and got to work. Through teamwork the boys finished the task in record time and earned a 'job well done' from Mike.
The little Scouts needed to complete one more task though. Most of the chores had already been done and Mike was out of ideas. He turned to his wife Cheryl to see if she had any ideas. She that at the kitchen table for a moment thinking about what the boys could do. Nothing immediately came to mind until her youngest son Caiden came into the room and shamelessly declared, "Mommy! I wents poopies in my pants!". Cheryl sighed at the thought of the unpleasant chore her youngest non-potty trained toddler just created for her husband. Suddenly, she had an idea that would benefit all parties in the house and declared that if the boys wanted to earn the Family Life Badge that they would need to change Caiden's diaper.
The two Scouts and Caiden groaned and whined, but ultimately agreed to the stinky chore. Kyle's parents supervised and gathered the supplies that the little Scouts would need. Caiden laid on the changing pad on the floor and impatiently waited for Kyle and Lucky to future it out. Lucky has a younger brother named Chucky, but never had to deal with his nappies. Same went for Kyle as the two inspected the equipment and referred to their Scout guide on how to even start this challenge. After hitting a road block, the boys asked Kyle's parents for help. They gladly obliged to their request and walked the boys through the event. After a long, stinky, and unpleasant time Kyle and Lucky completed their final task. Mike and Cheryl signed off their papers and the boys rushed off to collect their newest badges.
You scouts are super smart and resourceful! You'll get that kiddo changed in no time!(May or may not leak, but that doesn't matter, practice makes perfect)
