Yet another con of a rigorous overspecialization... :o

(and also a reminder to always put that 1 skill point in cooking, basic maintenance, swimming, etc.)

Maybe if she picks up another class she can expand her skill repertoire to things that will fall under wifely duties.

Okay yeah no, this world works off full RPG mechanics and that's some bullshit!

And so did the previous one... The one that comments like this ended early. So, if you don't like it... DON'T READ IT!

It's not that I don't like it, RPG Mechanics can be really weird and as someone who plays a lot of RPG games I like pointing out the weird logic because it's fun to call out the weird logic.

You can make a meal that looks perfectly delicious and tastes good but only if it's poisoned, that's an idea you can only get from an RPG Mechanic. The idea flavor can be changed depending on the poison used makes sense in a way as in some cases cooking spice were used as a poison in the past, hell tomatoes are part of the nightshade family!

But how does not adding poison change anything about look of the meal? It's this kind of weird logic that makes these kinds of mechanics so fun and also so weird.

Seems you haven't been reading from the start. Why are you complaining now when enforced turn order and loot mechanics were in this the whole time?

if you don't like it you can just fuck off and find something you do instead

Wait, there's a turn order? I remember the loot stuff but I must have missed a few panels because I didn't know there was a turn order. Either way, I'm not complaining, I play a lot of RPG games and I love poking fun at the weird logic.

Unfortunately, sarcasm and joking tones do not come across in writing as there is no voice and this site doesn't have Emojis for the comments so my comment seems to have been interpreted meaner than I meant for it to come across.

Looking back, it's not really a turn order, but rather our little kobold always gets the first turn

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that. I suppose in a way that does imply that there is a sort of turn order in this world.

All such mechanics are broken in some manner or another across the board because there is no one standard to the mechanics.

This is why you can't just teleport directly behind the door.

NICE twist.

I assume that means she's also immune to at least some lethal poison so she can have nice meals herself?

Either that, or she just fixes dishes that look less apetizing for herself. Or she ingests a lot of antidotes with dinner.

Floofy

Or use poisons that don't affect her species.

Well as the stats say it doesn't just look unappetizing, it also tastes like crap.

No, it says its foul tasting. What do you have a problem with everything tasting like chicken?

Nice pun. Sadly written ruins the pun.
Fowl is chicken or duck. Foul is disgusting.

On the bright side, he gets what he orders... delicious food, just with an additional negative side effect.

At least she's not doing it on purpose...

Maybe he'll learn to cook so that she can have a nice meal, too.
