Character Description
Shunni is a shadow dressed in ritual green, an enigma operating under the will of Rite as part of the secretive Waving Grass Tribe. She is a practitioner of subtlety—rarely seen in the same place twice, yet always exactly where she needs to be. Her black fur is soot-dark, broken only by streaks of hand-painted green pigment that mark her status as one of Rite’s most trusted agents. Despite these striking visuals, Shunni’s true gift is the opposite: she disappears in plain sight.

Note: Those who’ve spoken with her can rarely recall what she said. Those who’ve seen her often second-guess whether they imagined it. Shunni’s specialty is not killing or spying—but infiltrating, manipulating, persuading. She’s the whisper between warring tribes, the "messenger" who turns tension into action or suspicion into war, all while her expression remains perfectly calm.
Note: Shunni operates without ego, completely surrendered to Rite’s ambition and greater plan—whether that plan brings salvation or destruction. She plays every role required of her: servant, consort, diplomat, even ghost. What she believes privately is unknown to all, even those closest to her.
Note: She once infiltrated the Longhowler Tribe and spent three moons living among them—earning their trust, sharing meals, laughing with their children—before vanishing just days before an ambush. Even now, a few within that tribe speak of her like a dream that never made sense.
Note: She finds strange comfort in being no one, which is why Rite remains the only one who calls her by a personal nickname—a detail she has never corrected.
