The Sorceress finally reveals the spell she put on Lapis. Lapis has no choice but to do whatever she is told.
The sorceress is quite proud of her little enchantment. It's very simple yet very versatile as it forces the person under the spell to do whatever they are told no matter what. It's a new spell the sorceress came up with and is just now realizing how much fun it is to play with.
The spell was originally meant for Vera, as it can only be cast on one person at a time. Unfortunately, Vera wasn't home when the sorceress came to visit and the only person there was some random kid named Lapis. Surprisingly, Lapis didn't seem to have a problem with this strange woman entering Vera's house and was more than happy to tell the sorceress where Vera was and what she was doing. Lapis even offered to let the sorceress wait with her until Vera got home.
This proved to be a bad idea... for the sorceress.
The poor sorceress had never been badgered with so many questions so quickly. She didn't think one person could talk for so long without stopping. The sorceress felt like she was losing her mind and had no other option but to use her spell on the girl.
Nothing happened at first, except that Lapis launched into another series of questions about the weird light coming from the sorceress' hands. Then the sorceress told Lapis to "Shut up already!" and Lapis' mouth immediately slammed shut. Lapis was clearly shocked by what had happened as evidenced by her hands shooting up to her mouth to try and pry it open, but she did so silently.
The sorceress took things a step further by ordering Lapis to "Stop that!" and "Just stand there and look pretty."
Lapis' arms shot to her sides and her body went rigid. She was standing at attention with a huge smile spread across her face. The smile was more creepy than pretty, but it worked well enough. Everything seemed perfect, except for the fact that Lapis' eyes kept following the Sorceress. Having some random kid silently stare at you with a creepy smile frozen on her face was disconcerting.
The sorceress spun Lapis on her heels so she was facing the door and said "Keep your eyes peeled for Vera." Lapis' eyes opened wide and her gaze was suddenly locked facing forwards. Lapis was completely motionless and silent, finally giving the sorceress the peace she needed to wait for Vera.
The sorceress is having a great time. Who knew hypnosis could be so much fun?
