Artwork Text Description: Digital illustration of an anthro-furry bevaal cheetah servant named Khay. He is sitting indoors on cloth and surrounded by pillows, with a wall and bright window with curtains open visible behind him. He is wearing traditional bevaal clothing with a sheer shoulder wrap and a bevaal wrap-around loincloth. He is also wearing expensive looking jewelry and an ornate collar with a lock.
He is looking up with a mildly concerned expression as he relaxes in the afternoon with some books after the day’s business is complete. He has no idea where Lue’maar went. He probably would rather not know either. Khay is Lue’s head servant and has considerable personal wealth despite his lack of freedom. Still, he greatly hopes one day Lue’maar will allow him to go and purchase his citizenship in the Wolf Alliance.

Khay enjoying a bit of downtime in the afternoon since the day’s business is complete. He has no idea where Lue’maar went. Honestly would likely rather not know
----- Might not look all that different from my usual work, but this was made with a very different workflow than I’m used to. It took a while to wrap my head around and I almost gave up a few times lol. Trying to work on making the materials look a bit more accurate overall. But the color workflow is so different. Overall, I think it looks a lot better than my usual colors ^^
following a different approach/road in order to be able to say «that's more like i intended it to be»... i can sympathize with that :-)
interesting how you keeped the fur drawed in a sketcky way on the belly and the hindpaws, to give us a more fluffy feeling but also a more «lived» sense of the body of a slave, used to keep himself busy :-D
*warning: MY impression of the piece* also, one can notice the two sides of the medal, the different points of view... - how sees it a slave, hoping to keep himself alive and intact serving and bearing (but for what future?) - how (indirectly) sees it the master; for lue'maar he is only a moving piece of furniture that must look at the same level then the rest of the palace, blend the slave in the ambient, so to speak :-\
