His master Lue’maar taught him how to read when they were both young and helped him get a decent education alongside him. Reading quickly became his favorite hobby, and he collects books despite them being very expensive as they are all hand copied at this time. Thankfully for him he has a large personal wealth despite not being free so he can purchase books to pass the time when not working.

First posted drawing of 2022! :D Haven’t made a drawing with just Khay in quite some time, so it is fun to do so again! I love him so much haha.
As a lot of things I draw, this was supposed to be an experimental sketch XD Then it turned into experimental inks, then experimental colors, and now it’s done haha. Pretty happy with how it looks! It has some shading and anatomy weirdness, but that’s kind of what happens when you finish a drawing you didn’t plan to lol. ___
I had a few commissions in progress that I should have worked on instead of this. But when it has been weeks and weeks since I made a finished drawing, I feel bad going right into commissions when I feel rusty. (Especially with inking and coloring.) So this was really a warm up drawing before I get back to streaming and commissions. If all goes smooth, I will try to stream later in the week, and will get to finishing up the commission in progress! -----
