And so we come to the last of the four! I don't have art of Diana herself yet, but I do plan to hopefully do so at some point in the future.
So, Diana's collection of Crowns has already been impressive, claiming four of the five. It's only fitting the Purple Crown had to wait for last. Darkwood was filled with places for ambushes by cultists not wishing to be on the menu. Anura was a toxic mushroom nightmare with bloated but well fed cultists. Anchordeep was beautiful, by laden with traps and cultists who's wounds closed almost as fast as they were made.
All three alone would have been a challenge to the Lamb. All together, they prepared her for the Silk Cradle.
Darkwood and Anura had their wide canopies, the sun and moonlight breaking through the dense branches and wide mushroom caps. Anchordeep still had the light of the sky reach the seabed. But the Silk Cradle... It was a hellscape of caverns, spider silk and the nests of the arthropods and arachnids that preyed on intruders and Shamura's worshipers who dropped their guard, with the bones and weapons of armies long consumed scattering the floors and walls. Even the traps of the last Bishop's domain ceased toying with the Lamb, from massive axes swinging on pendulums to spinning blades to impaling spikes.
Diana assumed the last Bishop was dangerous because their Crown gave them knowledge The last of the Bishops made it clear, with their domain and when they finally engaged the Lamb face to face, that knowledge was only one part of their Crown's domain of influence.
An entire domain of the Old Faith was a testament to WAR.
