Silas has been kidnapped following Lapis' last visit to his home. Vera wanted to make sure Silas was punished appropriately for his abuse.
Lapis doesn't understand what she's seeing and misinterprets the scene.
It had been a few days since Silas had invited Lapis to his home and tied her up so he could tickle her all weekend. Lapis definitely wasn't a fan of being tickled for such prolonged periods of time, but Silas made sure to include lots of pampering after each intense tickle-session. Lapis actually wound up having lots of fun with Silas and was satisfied with how much she got to play with his cat ears.
Silas had promised Lapis that they would get to hang out again soon, but it had already been 3 days and Lapis hadn't heard from Silas at all.
Lapis decided to go visit Vera out of boredom and walked to her house. When Lapis got there, she learned Vera was out of town for a few days taking care of business. This gave Lapis an idea, as this would be the perfect opportunity to sneak into Vera's basement and look for new spy gadgets. Lapis loved using Vera's gadgets and gear, showing them off to her viewers in streams.
Lapis entered the house, walked into the basement, and was shocked to see a familiar figure down there with her. It was Silas! Apparently, Silas had been in Vera's basement ever since that weekend he and Lapis had hung out together. Silas was wrapped in latex and strapped down to a chair with his feet being tickled by one of Vera's machines.
Silas saw Lapis approach but didn't seem to react. It wasn't until Lapis got closer that she heard Silas letting out weak, muffled squeals and saw his toes slightly curling in their bonds. The latex wrapped around his body was apparently so tight, it didn't allow him to even flinch or squirm. Straps held Silas' compacted body down to his chair while automated tickle tools attacked Silas' feet.
Wooden back-scratchers were raked over Silas' feet, back and forth, up and down, over and over again. They dug deep into Silas' soles, pulling and squishing his flesh until Silas' feet were thoroughly tenderized. The ticklish hell this was putting Silas through was effectively masked by his restrictive bindings and thick gag.
"Silas? What are you doing down here?" Lapis asked, examining her bound friend.
A thick layer of latex had been wrapped around Silas' face, covering up both his mouth and nose. This prevented Silas from responding to Lapis while also heavily restricting his breathing. There was only the slightest gap between the seam of the gag and Silas' face that allowed air into his nostrils, but it an immense amount of effort to draw even a single breath. Having been trapped like this since morning and having his feet being constantly tickled the whole time, Silas barely had enough strength or air to make a sound.
"Is everything alright? You seem quieter than usual." Lapis said.
Silas tried keeping eye contact with Lapis but found it impossible to do while focusing on his breathing. Silas would stare at Lapis for a fraction of a second before rolling his eyes back into his head while gasping for air. He'd repeat this constantly while waiting for Lapis to figure out how to free him.
Lapis ignored Silas' desperate attempts to get her attention with his eyes. She seemed more interested in the machine itself, watching as its wood tools mercilessly worked over Silas' immobilized feet. Finally, Lapis looked at the base of the chair and noticed a big red button labelled "STOP" below the seat. Using her deductive reasoning skills, Lapis figured this button would turn off the machine.
"Oh hey, I think I figured out how to turn the machine off. Do you mind? It's kind of hard to talk to you while you're using it." Lapis explained.
Silas still couldn't respond, but his eyes widened when he realized he could be out of this thing. Vera had anticipated Lapis sneaking down into the basement while the house was empty, so the ex-spy left a message for Lapis not to touch this device in particular. Vera had set it up to run for the entire duration of her stay out of town.
"Oh, what's this? A note from Vera?" Lapis said, "It says not to turn the machine off... Oh! I get it!"
Silas continued gasp silently while his motionless body was assaulted by the machine.
"You and Vera must be working on a project together!" Lapis exclaimed, proud of herself for figuring out what's going on. "This must be some kind of science experiment Vera's conducting in secret. She probably left this running to collect data while she's out of town."
Baffled by Lapis' nonsensical claim, Silas couldn't help but let out a weak cry from behind his gag. "Mmff-!!"
Lapis couldn't even hear Silas' protesting as she excitedly ran to a nearby desktop and turned it on, pulling out her emergency webcam. Lapis prepped the computer to host a spontaneous live stream so she could show off the cool new thing she just found. Only when the stream was ready to begin did Lapis turn around and finally acknowledge Silas' worried expression.
"Oh, don't worry, I promise to keep this whole thing a secret. I'll let all my viewers know not to tell anybody about what they saw." Lapis explained.
Lapis' stream was viewed by thousands, as most usually are. Silas tried calling out to Lapis several times, but only wasted his breath.
When Lapis was finished, she signed off to her viewers, turned off the computer, and walked upstairs to go home.
