Several Years Ago:
● A younger Mrs. Maple (Pachyrhinosaurus) in her 40s retires from her job as a logistics worker and chef in the military, after receiving word that her husband is confirmed to be killed in action in a recent war. She volunteers at a foster home for kids who lost their parents in said war as a way of coping with her loss.
● Upon returning home, Mrs. Maple proceeds to help out with looking after her grandchildren, along with babysitting many other kids of a similar age, during this time, she takes an interest in potentially opening up a daycare and uses the reparations given to her after her husband's passing to do so.
● Mrs. Maple starts a small daycare in her local suburb called "Dino Digs Daycare". It gains a bit of attention for its good reputation and service, as Mrs. Maple hires additional staff to help run the daycare, she also begins plans for potentially expanding the daycare.
● Due to an unexpected recession, Dino Digs Daycare loses a significant amount of business, however, Mrs. Maple attempts to push through, continuing to receive the requests from a few parents who know her for her skills.
● A few years later, while on the brink of debt and with almost no more business, Mrs. Maple tearfully prepares to sell the daycare to survive, but a massive reform bill in her state manages to save her, as her suburb begins a massive renovation process, the new mayor visits her daycare after hearing about her reputation and
financial issues, she believes that Mrs. Maple still has a lot going for her, and sees that the daycare has great potential for future childhood education, especially with its location in the soon to be renovated mixed-use suburb. For this, the daycare is given a significant amount of funds and resources to rebuild, much to Mrs. Maple's joy.
● Over a year after the bill, Dino Digs Daycare is fully upgraded into a near proper schoolhouse that receives additional government funding to keep afloat for the next few years. Mrs. Maple, now nearing her 60s, proceeds to rehire a few old faces and some new ones. And with the renovated suburbs attracting many new businesses and residences, the Daycare reopens for business!
Few years Prior:
● Two of the first kids named Othniel (Unknown Species) and Edward (Unknown Species) joined the daycare, and became good friends.
● Due to unknown disagreements between the two, they ended up turning against each other as enemies.
● Othniel created Team Othniel, while Edward created Team Edwards, 2/3 of kids in the daycare joined one of each side, as the last 1/3 remained unaffiliated.
● After two more years Othniel is decided as the 'winner' between the two teams, having more support, his team had been far more successful compared to Edward, as the two kids eventually graduated.
● Team Othniel is renamed to Team Hell Creek to remove reference to its original leader.
● Team Edwards is renamed to Team Elrhaz likewise to remove reference to its original leader, but one of their former members grows bitter and wishes to continue the fight for their team.
● Team Crato is Formed from the remaining kids.
● Most of the current cast is Born.
Three years Prior
● Seth (Suchomimus) (4) learns about the old conflict between Othniel and Edward and begins scheming about the revival of Team Elrhaz, as he pairs up with Ludo (Lurdusaurus) (4) to begin his plans.
● Elmore (Edmondontosaurus) (4) and Cash (Pachycephalosaurus) (4) join Team Hell Creek under an unnamed leader along with an unnamed member.
● Jackson (Torosaurus) (3) joins the daycare in Pre-K.
● Tylus (Dicraeosaurus) (2) joins the daycare and is entered into Nursery.
● Drago (Spinosaurus) is born.
● Team Elrhaz restarts the conflict with Team Hell Creek, as the two teams once more begin their rivalry with each other and it's implied that Team Elrhaz won this year, beating Team Hell Creek and claiming the top spot for themselves.
Two Years Prior:
● Jackson (4) joins a weakened Team Hell Creek in Kindergarten together with Elmore (5), Cash (5), their unnamed Leader and 5th member.
● Tracy (Triceratops) (3) and Max (Dakotaraptor) (3) join the daycare in Pre-K, the two meet and become best friends.
● Dash (Pachycephalosaurus) (3) joins the daycare in Pre-K, and is later revealed to be Cash's younger sister.
● Tylus (3) moves up to Pre-K, as he begins feeling the pressure from his parents' demands.
● Twins Noel and Parkson (Iguanodon) (3) join the daycare in Pre-K.
● Team Elrhaz once more begins to clash with Team Hell Creek, but smart thinking from Jackson helps Team Hell Creek fire back on many occasions.
● Tommy (Triceratops) is born which causes Tracy to grow jealous of the attention given to him, creating her bratty attitude.
● Grace (Dicraeosaurus) is born causing Tylus to worry about her safety due to his parents, as he slowly becomes overprotective of her.
● At some unknown point, Lucy's mother is killed while escaping and protecting her daughter from a Private Military Corporation sent to firebomb her village, Lucy (Tupandactylus) (4) is eventually found in the aftermath and taken into foster care where she spends the next two years. She also develops a deep trauma from the song "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" as it was a common song, and also the final song her mother sang to her before dying while cradling her daughter in her arms.
● Ellie (Amargasaurus) (3) joins the daycare in Pre-K, as she and Max share similar interests, the two become friends.
● Tracy, Max, Dash, and Ellie, start an unofficial little group known as the "Dinosquad" for fun.
● Team Hell Creek succeeds in defeating and humiliating Team Elrhaz in a big school carnival event thanks to clever thinking from Jackson, along with the interference from a few Pre-K kids, calling themselves the Dinosquad. During this time, Tracy gets a glimpse of Jackson and develops a crush for him.
● With the upcoming graduation of two of their members, the current leader of Hell Creek chooses Jackson as his obvious successor, with Elmore and Cash completely agreeing that he should be their leader next year.
One Year Prior:
● Jessica (Leaellynasaura), and her boyfriend Timothy (Parasaurolophus) are hired as new daycare workers.
● Jackson (5) takes his place as the newest leader of Team Hell Creek together with Elmore (6) and Cash (6).
● Tracy (4) and Max (4) move up to Early Kindergarten and join Team Hell Creek.
● Dash (4) moves up to Early Kindergarten but is unaffiliated for now.
● Ellie (4) moves up to Early Kindergarten and joins Team Crato.
● Tylus (4) moves up to Early Kindergarten and joins Team Elrhaz.
● Twins Noel and Parkson (4) move up to Early Kindergarten but are unaffiliated.
● Ourano (Ouranosaurus) (4) and Kikki (Kryptops) (4) join the daycare under Team Elrhaz.
● Franco (Carnotaurus) (4), DJ (Amargastegos) (4), and Ronnie (Riparovenator) (4) join the daycare and become friends.
● Harrier (Caulkicephalus) (4), Isabella (Austroraptor) (4), and Allison (Zanabazar) (4) all join the daycare.
● Isabella, Franco and DJ join Team Crato. While Ronnie, Harrier, The Twins, and Allison remain unaffiliated.
● Drago (2) Joins the Daycare under Nursery.
● Seth (6) enacts his revenge on Hell Creek for the humiliation of Elrhaz last year but isn't so successful especially with Jackson leading the team and being up to all his tricks.
● Olivia (Elasmosaurus) (4) and her family move into town.
● At some point during the summer, Dash meets Olivia at a local swimming complex, and the two become good friends.
● Tracy goes on the offense and begins humiliating Team Elrhaz instead, after getting tired of their many failed attempts to sabotage Team Hell Creek. Tylus eventually hatches a plan that would lead to 'The Incident' as he hated how much of a brat Tracy was acting as, and the way she treats her baby brother.
● 'The Incident' , a highly humiliating event, happens to Tracy, which causes her to significantly change her current attitude, quickly get potty trained, and respect her baby brother more, the entire daycare also cuts down on mocking her after the events that happened afterward, where the police had to be called.
● Tommy (1) and Grace (1) join the daycare under Nursery.
● A highly unfinished Team Wessex is created, under Harrier, Noel, Parkson, and Ronnie, but no one can decide on who should be the leader.
● Seth makes one final push with Ludo, Kikki and Ourano, to hurt Hell Creek's reputation, but Jackson, and a reformed Tracy finally put a stop to all of them, getting annoyed at the incompetence of his friend, Ludo finally steps in, and calls for an end to the fight.
● Much to the disappointment of Kikki and Ourano, Ludo takes over Seth's position as Elrhaz's leader and puts an end to the conflict between the two teams. Because of this, Hell Creek sorta 'wins' by default.
● Franco, DJ, and Ronnie form a group known as the “Jurassic Punks” and start causing trouble.
● Jackson and the current members of Hell Creek along with Dash put a brief halt to the Jurassic Punks' shenanigans, because of this, Cash suggests that his sister take his spot as the next member of Hell Creek, to which, everyone on the team agrees, as Dash is made an honorary member for now.
● Team Crato is renamed to Team La Amarga, as several of their unnamed former members graduate
● Seth, Ludo, Elmore, and Cash all graduate from Daycare to first grade
● Due to complicated family reasons, Jackson is forced to move out of town, in his place, he assigns Tracy to be the new Leader of Hell Creek next year, and gives Tracy her cowgirl hat as a going away present. However, he promises to visit her whenever he can next year. While originally unsure, Max and Dash support Tracy as their new leader.
● Jackson is made a semi-official member of the Dinosquad after his departure.
● After graduation, a terrible snow storm forces the daycare to close for the rest of Winter.
● During the closure, Mrs. Maple visits the old orphanage she used to work at as she has considered adopting a new child; she chooses Lucy (5) as her daughter after hearing about her horrible situation.
Current Year:
● Clay (Ankylosaurus) (4) joins the daycare early in the year in Kindergarten, he meets Dash (5) who has also returned early as the two become friends, but doesn't have the best first day, as Clay has a run in with the Jurassic Punks and beats the ever living snot out of Franco (5) for bullying him.
● Isabella (5) takes her place as the leader of the recently renamed Team La Amarga.
● Tracy (5) and Max (5) return to Daycare after Winter break. As Tracy takes her spot as the new leader of Team Hell Creek.
● Dash and Clay join Team Hell Creek, with Dash introducing him to Tracy and Max. While Clay is now added as an official member of the Dinosquad
● Brittany (4) joins the daycare after being recommended to her rich father, Mr. Rex. he hopes doing so could curb her spoiled behavior, and if Mrs. Maple is successful, he offers to provide a huge paycheck which could upgrade the daycare. Mrs. Maple agrees, and Brittany is assigned to Hell Creek, but she begins causing a lot of trouble for everyone and is highly uncooperative.
● Tylus (5) is reassigned as the new leader of Team Elrhaz but does a terrible job
running the team, and due to what happened last year Kikki (5) and Ourano (5) are
uncooperative to their new leader.
● Drago (3) experiences a huge growth spurt and is considered too much of a threat to be left in Nursery and Pre-K that he is moved up to Kindergarten as a member of Team Elrhaz, further stressing Tylus out.
● Lucy (6) is introduced to the other kids as a new kid in daycare, and Mrs. Maple’s adopted daughter, she is assigned to Team La Amarga where she meets Ellie (5), who learns that Lucy is lacking behind in education despite being the oldest kid in class, as she helps the Tupandactylus catch up on her reading and writing, during this time, the two slowly fall in love with each other.
● Sever (Indeterminate Azhdarchid) (5), against his wishes, is put into daycare by his parents, he decides to manipulate Team Elrhaz into making him their leader to get what he wants, and proceeds to run the team ruthlessly.
● Lucy develops an extremely uneasy feeling towards Sever, as he reminds her of an
incredibly similar Azhdarchid (A Thanatosdrakon), which killed her mother.
● Olivia (5) joins the daycare and is revealed to be wheelchair bound, she aids in finishing the completion of Team Wessex, and becomes their new leader.
● Denz (Deinocheirus) (4), Trishna (Therizinosaurus) (4), Gia (Nomingia) (4), and Timmy (Prenocephale) (4) all join the daycare.
● The new Team Nemegt is formed after the arrival of the new group of kids, Denz takes the position of the new Team's Leader, but Allison (5) secretly runs the team.
● Lucy meets up with Team Hell Creek and helps them rescue Ellie from one of Sever’s plans. The six dinosaurs soon become quick friends, as Lucy is added as an official member of the Dinosquad under Ellie’s suggestion.
● With everything settled, the new year of class starts in mid-to-late January, Beginning the adventures of Dino Daycare!
