Character Description

Lycoza was raised among the scattered broods of feral Arachne—creatures feared more for their monstrous instincts than their minds. Her early life was one of hunger, instinct, and survival. She knew only the bite of cold wind through webs and the constant scuttle of prey and rival alike. The world was not gentle to her kind, and so she was not gentle in return.But fate spun a different thread for Lycoza.

Background/History

Note: Wounded in a skirmish with a rival brood, Lycoza collapsed at the edge of a forgotten shrine nestled between the forest and the mountains. There, a solitary temple priest found her. He should have run. Instead, he saw something past the fangs and carapace. He brought her food, patched her wounds, and sat beside her with no weapon in hand. At first, she watched him like a beast watches prey. But days turned to weeks, and his quiet presence became... something else.

Note: For the first time, Lycoza tasted a kindness unearned. He never caged her, never ordered her. Just offered. And with each offering—of fruit, of cloth, of time—her instincts shifted. Not vanished. Just... repurposed. When affection finally overtook her instincts, she pounced—not in hunger, but in passion. Love, in her mind, was a hunt with no escape.

Note: Since then, she’s remained near the temple—not quite tame, not quite wild. The villagers whisper of the “Spider Bride in the Trees,” and the priest never corrects them. He simply smiles.

Human Form: In her human form Lycoza has dark black hair with red rips, her white skin like alabaster. She appears no older than her early 20s and one would not be able to tell her from any other human if not for her pitch black eyes.

Arachne Form: In her Arachne form Lycoza has 8 eyes, 6 spider like legs coming from her ribs - now thorax, as well as her 4 human limbs - her feet devolve into pedipalps. Her skin turns black and gray, exuding an exoskeleton, and an abdomen emerges from her buttocks.
