The Feral TV is an entity that enters the world during the night, disguising themselves as old CRT TV's.
They might have featurers that appear robotic due to perception, in reality they are more akin to an unknown other wordly entity who's specific features and functions may change over time invariably.

Something that can be 'nailed down' however is that they do have a means of eating and all that entails, they especially like to snack from your coffee table when you leave snacks during movie night unattended.

Their means of communication varies between using their screen face to show video clips and channels that convey their emotions, talks or wants, but sometimes they decide to straight up talk. Their voice may also change occasionally depending on how the listener thinks they should sound like.

In a mimick state all extra "features" retract so they can appear like a domestic TV, square dusty and normal, put a treat to the bottom of their "face" and it might sniff and eat it however XD.

Yeah I haven't drawn in super long and had this weird idea, I think it's cute, might model later (gotta complete the Iwut first) I am thinking the Feral TV character will be a fun addition to my rooster of strange animals this one being backroomsy adjecent.

Canonically their gender is "Daytime" and "Nighttime" programming
(as in TV programming not software)
