This is an updated version from drawings I did several years ago. In the original drawing, the characters are drawn in fur-clad. That was before I began drawing my characters clothed. I made copies of the older artwork and added outfits to the characters in the copies.
This drawing is depicted as being sometime around the year 1915. The setting is in Angola, Africa. The little, short, opossum of dumpy stature is an American returning from a business trip, and is boarding the train in Angola enroute to the Atlantic coast. At the coast, the opossum will board a steam ship back home to the U.S. This was a time when World War 1 was going on. The conductor wearing the sharp uniform is an African civet. A serval has recently already gotten aboard. The engineer is an African mongoose. The wood tender attendant is a bat eared fox.
The notice on the steps leading into the coach is Portuguese for, "Careful with the step". Portuguese is the official language of Angola.
Several years ago, I've moved the original drawing to one of my other accounts, meerkatfamily. https://inkbunny.net/s/941577 I posted a link here instead of a BB code image because the original is rated adult due to genital details in some of the pics.
EDIT: I recently improved the 1st pic to give it more depth. You can see the comparison in the 3rd pic.
